First time poster here so apologies if this is in the wrong place. I had an elective c section three weeks ago. The first spinal injection did not work so I had another one about twenty minutes later which was successful. Recovery went smoothly. A few days later I started getting severe headaches and had a blood patch procedure one week post partum. I found the procedure itself very uncomfortable and got shooting pains in my right leg which I made the anaesthetist aware of throughout and he adjusted the procedure accordingly. Headaches eased but a few days after the blood patch procedure I started to experience chest pain and sporadic sensations that radiate into my arms. I also have upper back pain which I feel is connected to the chest. Two hospital visits later and one GP visit, I have had two normal ECGs, two normal blood tests and a normal chest x ray. The hospital have suggested that it might be due to the body recovering from the spinal injections and to just give it time but I'm not too sure. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar post c section or blood patch or if anyone thinks it could be connected to the spinal injections. Any help or advice re your own experiences would be greatly appreciated....
