Pushing pram after c section

I had cs 19 days ago, yesterday was the first day I went out for a proper walk and I also pushed the pram for a bit. My tummy is quite painful this morning - did I just overdo it or could I have done some damage?

I wouldn't have thought you'd have done any damage but call your GP or midwife if you are worried about your scar, have any swelling, redness or seepage. Always best to double check.

Probably just overdid it unless you have swelling or any sign of an infection. I got sore after doing things like that and worried I'd done long term damage and was told by the midwives you'd have to do some serious heavy lifting etc to do damage but by overdoing it you can prolong recovery time.

Thanks, will check scar when baby finally finishes feeding! Will take it easy for a bit longer.

They usually say take it very easy for the first six week. It's excellent advice. Flowers

Scar looks fine, no swelling or redness anywhere. Muscles (such as I still have!) up the sides of my tummy are pretty sore though.

Don't be worried to go to the GP tho; I went twice during my six week recovery as I was worried about my pain and how my scar was healing. It was all fine but they didn't mind as they said they'd rather I get checked than have an infection and let it get worse
