My little girl has started teething at 7 weeks. I have taken her to the doctor to make sure it's not anything els and he said it can happen this early. Her gum is white and you can see and feel the tooth. Has this happened to anyone els?

It happened to me, however DDs teeth didn't actually break through until 16 weeks. Luckily the teething process wasn't too bad, a bit dribbly and grissly, until the final moment when she screamed blue murder for an hour... next thing you know... teeth.

I've heard rumours of them coming near the surface and then dropping back down a bit - though I can't see how that's possible.
