I have an ELCS on Monday, no problems, came home Wednesday. During pregnancy I did suffer from SPD and I had surgery on my right hip last May, they took out some damaged cartilage and reshape d the bone of the ball joint.
After my section I felt really good, less pain than I had anticipated and pelvis and hips all felt fine. This afternoon I got up from the sofa and had pain in my right hip and couldn't walk properly. When sitting it goes away but as soon as I stand it's agony.
Lying in bed and I'm aware of the pain but it's capable with, however I've just had to get up to grab a babygro and almost dropped DS as the pain was so bad, I burst into tears and couldn't move. DH got up and helped but I'm still In a lot of pain and don't know what I should do or if it's normal etc.
Does anyone have any experience or ideas? I can't just not move, I've got a newborn plus 2 older kids to look after.

So overnight DH had to take the baby as I couldn't move to get him in and out the basket. This morning I felt a lot of (TMI) gas moving around and when I got up to go to the loo I was able to walk. DH says I just just rest today, no going upstairs or out a walk, I'm hoping that helps.

I had a section Friday morning, and suddenly developed a pain in my right hip yesterday which made it agonising to move, it passed over night and now slightly milder on my left side!

Not much help but you're not alone Smile
