Pelvic pain

Hi all, has anyone had aches in the pelvic area whilst walking or when getting up off the floor weeks after giving birth? My baby is 9 weeks old & I had forceps delivery. Just wondered if it was normal to ache weeks after, thanks guys

Get yourself to a women's health physio, or ask your GP for a referral to one. I had this (felt like I'd been kicked in the pubic bone when I stood up) and I have some ongoing issues with my pelvic floor which may or may not get better. I didn't have forceps, just got unlucky, but you really should go and have a physio check you out. If you do have a problem, dealing with it sooner rather than later is good because you still have so much healing to do, and physio can do wonderful things. Good luck!
