Hi just that really 6 weeks since c section and I have zero appetite I've went 24hours a few times without eating, if it wasn't for my husband eating dinner most days I prob wouldn't eat anything. Other than that I feel fine, no symptoms of pnd. How common is this and what's the reason for it? Ive mentioned to hv etc and they just say hopefully it'll return soon.

Some loss of appetite is normal, I think, but 6 weeks seems a long time. I am 11 days post ELCS and haven't fully recovered my appetite yet. Make sure you do eat regularly, even if you don't particularly feel like it - you need to keep your strength up. I often find I don't feel like it but once I take a couple of mouthfuls I can take a bit more.

Speak to your hv/mw/gp if no progress soon tho as 6 weeks is a long time.
