Have I expressed enough milk?

Hi guys, wondering if you can advise....

I'm ebf and DH and I are going out tomorrow afternoon for a spa treatment for our anniversary.

It'll be the first time I've left her (my parents are babysitting) and I'm worried in case I've not expressed enough. She's 3 months old and normally feeds every 2.5 hours.

I've expressed two 8 ounce bottles - we'll only be gone for 4 hours max and I'll be feeding her just before we go.

Because she's breastfed I'm not really sure how much she takes each time she feeds but going by my baby book 8 ounces is about normal at this stage.

I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance! Smile

Does this seem enough?

Plenty! Congratulations and have fun.
She'll be grand even if she doesn't feed while you're away. I had my ebf baby on a four-hour schedule from 5 weeks of age to calm down my massive oversupply.

Phew! Thank you!

I'll be able to relax and enjoy my massage now Grin
