6 months on and still no sign. What are other people's experiences?

9 months when I introduced two forums feeds while breastfeeding
The pmt I had before that period was a killer.

apatheticfallacy · 28/06/2016 00:21

13 months and I've almost forgotten what a period is like

OutsiderInTheGarden · 28/06/2016 00:28

Are you breastfeeding though OP? I had to give up bfeeding at 5 months and my period returned the following month. Just after 7 months I was pregnant again though, so I didn't have to put up with it for long. The 2 periods I had were completely normal, just like my pre-pregnancy periods.

Simmi1 · 28/06/2016 00:42

6 months - around the same time I stopped breastfeeding

HarrysMummy17 · 28/06/2016 05:46

7 months. I was still breastfeeding but obviously weaning too

RatOnnaStick · 28/06/2016 05:51

14 months and 9 months respectively. I was disappointed I didn't get to a year the second time.

JE678 · 28/06/2016 05:54

3 months and I was still breastfeeding. I was very unlucky.

coragreta · 28/06/2016 08:18

I am bf but she's slept through since 5 months so no night feeds. And I'm back at work now so only feed 3 times a day. (Morning, when I get home and bed time.)
I'm not worried just curious as what to expect.

About 10 months, a couple of months after beginning to reduce day feeds ready for return to work.

rewardformissingmojo · 28/06/2016 08:23

15 months, still waiting...

ICJump · 28/06/2016 08:27

18 months first time round, 15 months second time.

bigchangesabound · 28/06/2016 08:37

I only got 2 months off- not even a year of no periods! Exclusively breastfeeding too. I definitely got short changed there.

JE678 · 28/06/2016 09:01

bigchanges I'm glad you posted, I was beginning to wonder if I should be taking myself off to the doc as I seemed to be the only one! I too felt very shortchanged!

eurochick · 28/06/2016 09:12

4 months. I was still fully expressing, including through the night. I felt very cheated!

harrowgreen · 15/07/2016 06:07

Not until I'd fully stopped breastfeeding with any of them (still waiting for it after number 3!): even one feed a day was enough to keep it away.

Although technically I never got a period after number 2 since I got pregnant from my first ovulation :)

JuniDD · 15/07/2016 06:21

18 months when I stopped feeding to sleep at night. Still feeding day & night.

8 weeks with my twins and 15 months with my third baby. Both soon after I reduced breastfeeding.

Fomalhaut · 06/08/2016 22:17

Ten months and still nothing ...

bugsey123 · 11/08/2016 15:53

I had my baby nearly 4 months ago and still nothing-never breastfed?!?!?
