Been diagnosed with extreme PMT, my moods are really affected. Which in turn effects my family. As I already have the implant my dr suggested citalopram for one month. After, one day I felt more myself despite being told it would take 3 weeks. Placebo affect?

A month in still feel more myself but don't want to rely on a little white pill? Dr has suggest 3 more months and maybe stop BF will be suffice.

I haven't told anyone I'm on the them. Feeling lost

Might be worth exploring further why you dont feel like you want to rely on "a little white pill" if it makes you feel better. I don't think there's anything wrong with taking a medication when it's required.
