Does beetroot make breast milk red/pink?

I've heard of garlic making it taste different and beetroot makes urine red so would it be the same with breast milk? I'm just worried about eating it now in case it looks like I'm bleeding or something.

My mum said this to me (not about urine but the baby's poo) and has also told me to avoid fruit as it will make my milk acidic! I just ignored but eventually asked her how it would go into my stomach red then out of my breasts as a milk colour to then turn red in the baby's digestive system? She couldnt explain all those colour changes.

I had beetroot on Monday (loads) and neither my milk nor the poo/urine were red.

Wish I could help but I've never tried this, sorry!
