Need advice please sorry for (tmi)

I had my baby 5 months ago and ever since going to the toilet has been a problem when I go for a wee it always feels afterwards that I need to go again straight away or if I have to urinate I'll go back having the feeling I need to wee and I'll go to the toilet and there always be little drops continuously coming out sometimes it can be painful it's really worrying me I'm just getting in the way of me enjoying my days and sleeping at night time can anyone give me an idea on what this maybe could be sorry for the too much information

It sounds like it could potentially be something as simple as cystitis. Always best to get checked by a dr though

It could be cystitis, but do go and get checked. Are you doing pelvic floor exercise at all, it really does make a difference, there is an app you download and it reminds you

Still waiting for an answer to the same question - I've been referred to gynae for this and some other problems since the birth :( will let you know what they say....x

It could be urine retention (you'll need to see a urologist to check it out). I had urine retention with both DDs. When you go to the toilet, you are not emptying fully, so feels like you need to go again shortly. I had a catheter put in to "rest" the bladder with DD1 and self-catheter with DD2.

Have to had a feel inside? Does it feel bulgy at all?

I have this problem but that is due to the fact my bladder and urethra have prolapsed which is stopping my bladder from emptying properly

If there is no infection and the GP tries to fob you off I would recommend asking for a referral to a urogynaecologist (not a normal gynae) who can then refer you for Physio if you need it

Also try to double void - wee then stand up and move about and sit to wee again. Or even hover to wee as this can make it easier due to the angles of bladder. Also leaning forward can help

Forgot to say a urogyn can diagnose through post void ultrasound and urodynamics and examination so lots of avenues to explore
