I've not been feeling very well at all, and was beginning to think I may have a thyroid problem after having my DC 5 months ago. Doctor ran some blood tests and has come back saying I have a very low MCV. I am now worrying this is due to some underlying disease. Is it possible that a low MCV on a blood test could be caused by childbirth 5 months ago? I would have thought it was too long ago? All bloods during pregnancy were fine. Thanks for your help.
