I gave birth five weeks ago at 23 + 5 following a three day labour, unfortunately it was too early for my little boy. I started bleeding two days before giving birth and then bled on and off for 3 weeks after. I started back on the pill 3 weeks after birth and a week after starting the pill my bleeding started again, light at first but for the last 5 days it's been heavier than it was after I gave birth but not as heavy as my periods pre pregnancy. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I am not sure if its my first period or related to the pill. I couldn't get into the doctors today and not heard back from the midwives and not sure if I should be concerned.
I did end up in hospital a week after birth with an infection but that has gone now as far as I am aware as feeling fine and was given antiobiotics.
Anyone had a similar experience in terms of bleeding stopping completely and then starting again?
