Anyone else had piles??

I'm sorry, I know it's horrible but I've has piles since my baby was born 7 weeks ago. I've been taking lactulose and have some gel from the gp but they just don't seem to be going. I bleed every time I go to the toilet and it's just agony. I dread going now! Has anyone else has this? How long did they last? And are there any amazing cures out there that I could try!! It's making me so miserable as everything else is almost better and I so want to just feel like ME again!

I feel your pain, piles are horrible! I got them right after labour and only just got rid of the piles 11 weeks after labour. Mine were bleeding too, not nice!
I picked up some anusol cream from the chemist and used it two to three times a day for about a month. Someone told me that sudacrem is amazing so I started using that and coupled with eating more bananas, drinking lots and lots of water and peppermint tea to soften the stools it worked a treat!
Try not to strain when going to the bathroom, go only when you really need to and try and raise your feet up a bit. Apparently it helps with the way your bowels open and alleviates the pressure.
If they get bad I'd go to the docs, although I know its embarrassing. Hope this helps!

Great tips. Thank you. I had them after my first baby as well but didn't last as long as they have this time. I just keep telling myself 'they'll be gone soon' but it's not soon enough so far!!

Drink water like it is going out of fashion. Plenty of fruit and veg and Lactulose if you need it. The anusol cream is good. The doc told me they can last up to 3-4 months but they will get better. It sucks
