I am hoping someone can give me some advice please. My 2 year old has not been to the toilet since Thursday so 5 days ago now. However on Thursday it was such a bad smell for a little poo made me a little concerned (like acid). That night around 4 hours later she was sick in her cot. She was not acting herself. About after 30mins of her being sick we had a violent bout of convulsions resulting in her having oxygen and strong medicine to bring her round. This has never happened before.
I am now concerned as she is only 18lbs so tiny for a 2 year old. She has dulcolax since Saturday and we have not had her open her bowels. I am concerned this is causing bad toxins in her tiny body which caused her to fit.
Would you recommend taking her back to A and E today as she still has not been after 2 doses of this laxative or keep her home. I am very so cerned as this medicine has not worked and when it does her toxins will be so high she will start convulsing again.
Any advise would be truly thankful for right now.
