Ta da!

Hope this shakes a few of us out of where we're languishing these days .

Let this be the one-stop shop into everything that is the crazy, wonderful, sleep and sanity deprived world of bringing up baby

Head that is fabulous news about F - you must be the proudest mummy onthe block. Grin

Well done little Frankie

And helo to everyone else - I promise I'll post more tomorrow - thanks for all the good vibes - will talk to you tomorrow.

bluesatinsash · 25/08/2010 20:47

Irish - you ticking time bomb you Grin. surely it can't be much longer.. Why don't you pick a room and clean it from head to toe? I did that with playroom day before I went into labour, sure all the crouching and stretching helped things along...

Head - proud Mummy ahoy!! Grin. Well done Frankie Smile. Hope you caught it on vid.. Ben has started bum shuffling which is so cute and not at all like his big brother who by passec crawling and went striagh tto standing at 8 months and walking at 10 Shock.

Will do proper catch up post tomorrow morning when Isaac is at school and Ben sleeping - the dusting can wait!

Hello everyone
Er, I note that it has been 2 months since I last posted, and I have no idea why I seem not to have had time, when the rest of you, most of whom have the same amount of / more DCs than me, manage to post regularly. Er, and now I seem to have lost the ability to type short sentences Blush.
I absolutely and truly do think of you all often, even if I don't show it Blush Blush
I've read the last two months'-worth of lovely posts but I can't seem to hold it all in my head sufficiently to type any salient personals. I'm so sorry. So much has happened. Crawling babies, supersonic weaning, PHDs, turbo-charged gym attendance, and an almost-due baby. Irish, very very best of luck and I hope these last few days aren't proving too stressful / frustrating for you. I'm so glad to hear that everyone is doing well. And I'm so happy that some of you have revealed your real identities! I joined Facebook but a couple of months ago after years of resistance, and I'm loving the way it makes you feel less cut off, like having a social life without having to leave the sofa (handy for me these days).
The thing is (and thank you, Bella, for being honest enough to spur me to be honest too), while I'm happy to (and would really love to) share my name with everyone on this thread, I'm deeply paranoid about it being in any way traceable on MN. This is because I'm a journalist. And I work for people who, if they knew some of the personal stuff I've posted on here over the years, would pressure me big-time to write about it, and I really can't, and they really can't know. I realise I probably sound insane but there you are. And now I feel selfish even blathering on about myself when I haven't posted for so long. I don't know what to do. Sorry to ask a stupid question, but is that why you all did double spacing when you typed your real names? So they couldn't be searched? (I am not a very bright journalist).
I am so paranoid about anyone in RL finding me here that I don't even feel comfortable typing my DDs' names. Hence Tubba. Am I being daft?
I'm gonna stop here instead of doing a mega post and instead aim for smaller, regular ones. I'm so sorry again for being absent - I don't know what I do in the evenings but I sure as heck don't go out so I have no excuses. I have 9 - 10pm free, which is an hour a night, but I guess I must just spend it staring into space or watching bad TV. Anyway, much love to all.

Sunnydale · 26/08/2010 21:06

AARGH! I've killed the thread! Please come back ladies, this tumbleweed is strangling me!
Just checking in as wanna be true to my word about posting more regularly. Even if no-one replies Sad

bluesatinsash · 26/08/2010 21:19

LOL Sunny. just finished my online Tesco ordere and had a wander over although have to jump in shower as just back from gym and beginning to smell Blush.

Lovely ot have you back and Envy at you being a journalist. It's what I wanted to be "when I gew up" but Scotland only had one course doing it (Napier Uni) when I left school in 1989... I am a whizz at the old work email though Grinpeople bow down to my grammer and wsetnance construction - no really they do Grin (and it has spell check)..

Would love to meet on FB - you can search my name and send me a messag eif you like. Yes spaces between l e t t e r s means you're name won't show up on search.

Hope you are well.

I'm sorry I didn't post this morning, was at PC and Ben woke up early, he is having a bother with his teeth just now, my wee lamb. Gurning and looking so like Don Corleone from The Godfather Grin.

Will try again during nap time tomorrow x

Is it grammer or grammar - oh I've looked at the word too long now Confused

Hi Sunny you haven't killed the thread, I'm just watching the Hurricane Katrina programme on Channel 4 with open mouth...

bluesatinsash · 27/08/2010 13:35

Right Ben has just gone down, my lunch is in front of me, sleeves rolled up so here goes for a catch up Smile.

Irish - I'm about to check you on FB but you are quiet here....Hmm Good sign? Hmm. Oooh I hope so!!!!

Bella - I always took the HV advice (mine is very good and pragmatic) re: babies mealtimes. She said my aim is to try and have them eating the same time as you which in the Sash household is
8am breakfast
12pm lunch
5.430pm dinner.

I do think its a million times easier if baby is on a bottle to being with as Ben was never having wee kiddon milk drinks for comfort (Sad) so I could being right away by pushing his 11am bottle to 11.30am then introducing food then pushing it back to 11.45am then finally 12pm with no milk.

wasabi's food suggestions were great! I always try to have a fish/beef/chicken cube tray in the freezer and give this at lunchtime with non-meat protein at dinner (caulif cheese etc.) Going to try humous tonight (just had a snigger there as I typed humour and had an image of me feeding Ben with my big clown feet on Grin).

Had to Smile at your eggy bread, we had big debate at my work last year re: eggy bread v french toast! Apparently french toast is the posh way to refer to it Grin. How are you feeling this week re: work and stuff?... Its so lovely reading your posts about G, even though you're knackered and busy, you have embraced motherhood MUCH better than I did first time around

Head How's the crawling going Smile? Have you made any progress re: employing a nanny? How are you feeling about gearing up to go back to work? I've found it pretty painless although today is the last of my eight Friday's off Sad. So will be Mon/Wed/Fri from next week. I'm so so glad I took the hit on my salary and took these extra days off, just having this day totally Ben and me has been lovely. Its like God knew that so has made the usn shine today and we've been out and about.

I bought the paster of paris kit from Mothercare earlier as want to get a cast of Ben's feet as they are so chubby and pudgy Smile.

wasabi - love reading about all your renovations and doing up of house Smile. You must post photos of the famous snug once its complete. I go to the gym after I've put Ben down @ 7.30pm and DH sees to Isaac. Its bloody hard to muster up the energy but I feel so much better when I've been plugged into my i-pod for an hour. I'm only managing every Thurs at the moment but hoping to increase it to Tues and Sat morning spin class (will have to tape Saturday Kitchen!! - James Martin - be still my beating heart!).

Feeling for you and the during the night feed... Have you tried getting up to C but not giving her boob but cooled water instead with the hope she will go "no thanks" and decide its not worth waking up for? You may have to wear your DH's dressing gown or t-shirt to try and hise you milk smell but worth a shot?

My rule was once both boys slept through the night they were never offered milk if they woke after that. BUT they were both on a bottle by then..

Jumping - has F still sneaking in for night feeds? How are your energy levels doing? You DD is so like your DH and your DS and DD2 so like you, in my opinion Smile

All good here at bluetowers, got my curtain material samples through for new dining room/snug (copyright wasabi). Off out for a girlie night in tonight. One of my friends is hosting a children's clothes party (like Tupperware but clothes) so my bottle of white wine is chilling in the fridge.

I even treated myself to a new top from Next and its a size EIGHT! OK its supposed to be baggy and is quite tight and I do have teeny tiny boobs but I thought I cut quite the dash Smile.

Well Ben has woken up from yet another short nap (his teeth are bothering him something terrible although it isn't affecting his night sleep - touch wood) Gotta go x

OP posts:
bluesatinsash · 27/08/2010 14:00

Managed to Get Ben back down as he'd only had half an hour. I think his teething pain isn't allowing him to sleep into the next cycle IYKWIM. He has two bottom and his top incisors so looks like a mini wampire Smile.

Sunny - sorry for missing you out of previous post. Hope you're lurking and understand your need for privacy. My life is pretty un eventful so don't really mind if anyone finds me on here. In fact someone did once, under my previous name as I was on 'Due in April 2009" and someone from RL posted to congratulate me! She then posted to commiserate after I'd had MC.. Why she was lurking on a ante-natal thread though... Hmm.

So how is Tubba doing? Does she look like her big sister? How's your DD1 coping with it all?

irishmumwannabe · 28/08/2010 09:45

Hey ladies posting from my hospital bed with Aoife louise beside me snoozing. :-D she was born on thursday at ten thirty a.m amid much drama. Labour started around five, was very intense, waters broken at ten lots of meconium emcs with spinal but she's here and safe. Will post pics when I get home

bluesatinsash · 28/08/2010 13:46

Oh Irish Grin Grin Grin Grin CONGRATULATIONS to you and MrIrish!!!! Welcome to the world Aoife Louise Smile may you be blessed with love and happiness Smile.

Hope you're recovering from the EMCS, having her in your arms makes it all worthwhile. Enjoy counting those little fingers and toes and smelling the top of her head - bliss xxxxxx

OP posts:
Sunnydale · 28/08/2010 22:19

Huge congrats on the safe arrival of aoife Louise dearest Irish. So so delighted for you. Look forward to seeing pics - enjoy this precious time. Sore as you may be, those nights in hospital when the two of you are just snuggled up in bed together are so precious, before the rest of the world interferes. Much, much love x x

BellaBalloon · 29/08/2010 19:27

wowzers - just catching up and zero time to post but WEEPY emoticon at the birth of Aoife Louise
Tingled with excitement for you I am. ooooo cuddle her all you can - tis the most magical of times

i'm so pleased that all the babies are here now, safe and sound Grin

oh and hi sunny ! journo eh? cooooooooel Grin

oh and head GO FRANKIE - i must confess that i have started chucking G down on the floor on his tummy a bit but he ain't keen. He just wants to stand too so praps he will follow in little isaacs footsteps.

right. got to go and ask DH if i can come out of the doghouse now Blush. it was his fault but can't be bothered to pick this battle. he can have it.

wasabipeanut · 29/08/2010 21:48

Aaaaahhh just popped in to see the wonderful news! Irish the biggest congratulations ever to you and Mr Irish on the safe arrival of Aoife Louise. Grin Grin I?m sure that she is quite the most beautiful, exquisite creature that you have ever laid your eyes on. Echoing Blue?s sentiments re savouring those lovely little fingers and toes and every sniff of her lovely forehead. Nothing else will ever smell that good. Sorry where was I? Ah yes, am thrilled to pieces for you and can?t wait to see pics when you get around to it xxx

Head Congrats to you as well on Frankie crawling. So cute! I remember posting on MN with pride when Freddie started crawling ? I was beside myself with pride and had to share. I LOVE crawling babies. Always investigating and exploring ? usually something they shouldn?t be!

Blue Am supremely envious of your size 8 top! DH and I have been dieting this week (low carb ? India and Neris?s Idiot Proof diet if anyone is interested) and I am relieved that my size 14?s are now feeling comfy as opposed to rather too snug for comfort. I would love to be a petite, well proportioned person but have to settle for being rather more generously proportioned. I have never in my entire life been less than a 12 I don?t think. I am really impressed at your discipline with gym and spin and what have you. I used to do the gym pre children and I do understand what you mean when you say that you have more energy afterwards.

Clara did manage to sleep through a few nights last week but has been waking once the last few nights. I know that I should probably be bit stricter now she is established on 3 meals a day and is clearly capable of sleeping through but at 3am or whenever it is I just crumble. I know, I know. I?m rubbish. Are Ben?s teeth still hurting or have a couple more erupted since you last posted?

I will indeed post a pic or two of the snug on completion! Great isn?t it? I haven?t posted an updated picture of the children in ages but I can manage one of my house. DH and I are probably both a bit obsessed with doing stuff at the moment ? mainly to ensure that we have a more comfortable winter than last year when we all froze our asses off. You have to tell me what sort of a scheme you are going for in your new dining room/snug? (I?ll let you off copyright  )
So, did you splurge at your clothes party the other night?

Sunny Am proper envious of your job! I can understand that given your circumstances that you ate ultra paranoid about being outed. I can also understand why you don?t want to relive various experiences. I love to write and make my living from it (although in a far less glamorous vocation that you ) but I wouldn?t want to write about very personal things either, not when the audience was a readership of heaven knows who. I don?t think that my DH wouldn?t be overly chuffed about it either. I hope all is well with you, Mr. Sunny and your girls.

*Jumping How goes it for you? How?s the whole night feeding/bfing situation at the moment? I am proving fairly useless at cutting down on bfing given that the one bottle that Clara was taking before bedtime I am now giving her boob instead again as she was taking so little from a bottle. I hope that wherever you?re it you aren?t too exhausted.

Bella Hope you're out of the doghouse.

Not much news from the peanut house. F, C and I had a quietish week as DH went back to work on Monday. We just did the usual bimble that you do with toddlers ? baking, meeting friends at the local nature park, arguing over the amount of time spent watching Cbeebies etc. This weekend I have been channelling Stepford by making jam, chutney and damson gin! We have a lot of fruit trees in our garden plus a neighbour gave us a load of stuff so I am being kept busy doing stuff with it. Suffice to say that if you want fresh apple juice or plum jam, I?m your woman. It?s a good job I like to cook, that?s all I can say because I seem to spend my entire soddling life in the kitchen. I don?t mind, really I don?t. It is contributing towards my nesty, getting ready for winter sort of mind set. Tomorrow will no doubt be spent faffing about putting up the curtans in the playroom (took them down in April when we had the window renovated and haven?t got round to putting them back up again), sorting out the next batch of stuff to go into the loft and many other items on the peanut snagging list.

Anyway, it is getting late (for me anyway) so must post and run. Night night ladies and enjoy the last bank holiday before Xmas!

JumpingJellyfish · 30/08/2010 09:54

Getting no time online at the moment (not even turned on the web since Thurs...) but wanted to pop on and say a HUGE CONGRATS to Irish and IrishHubby on the birth of Aoife!! Well done!! From FB she looks absolutely gorgeous! Grin

Sorry to hear birth was very traumatic and ended with an emcs, but glad you were at least awake to welcome her into the world and all is well now!! Hope you are healing quickly and can come home very soon- and hope Aoife's doing well too. Can't wait to hear the details but bet it'll be a while before you get a minute or more to type on here!! :)

Big hello to everyone else, really hope to catch up more soon and finally post some personals!! sorry folks x

Ffion has started crawling too Head = chaos! :) She's teething really, really badly at mo so days not all that easy, and still waking 3-6 times a night...made worse by the teeth...so I keep falling asleep at like 8pm and the house left in disarray, but as the MN phrase goes "this too shall pass"

Lots of love xxxx

BellaBalloon · 30/08/2010 11:54

Just another quick bite sized post from me

wasabi G is being exactly the same with his sleeps - pulled a few all nighters but has now gone back to waking at around 4 ish and guzzling both boobs before properly nodding off again. I did notice that the nights he went through til 7 (he woke up but put himself back to sleep at some point) i had lined his stomach with loads of really heavy foods for supper. maybe. Hmm Like you i just don't have the motivation or energy to try alternative techniques just now.

Thanks for the ace weaning tips. I particularly like the thought of the fish strips for individual portions. G is generally eating really well. Breakfast can be a bit hit and miss and i am having to watch myself with the ella's pouches. It's just so easy cos he can suck a whole one down! Having said that he is actually getting lots of home made cooking so i don't feel tooooooo bad. i have been letting him put his hands in everything which is getting so messy. I am seriously over cleaning the floor and the whole high chair 3 times a day.

I am doing breakfast an hour after we get up so normally 7:30 - 8 then soome boob at 10:30 - 11, lunch at 12:30 - 1 boob at 2:30 - 3 and supper at 5 - 5:30. This seems to be working quite well.

I am in AWE at this jam and chutney making. You are the sort of person I aspire to be Grin. Can you make and instructional video for me please. You can film it in the snug!

no signs of teeth here yet, sorry F is having a hard time with it jumping I am hoping that G will suddenly just wake up with a tooth one morning without me having been aware of its imminent arrival.

Also like you wasabi, i have not made any progress winding down the boob, other than to stop wopping them out in public, so G does get a sippy cup when we're out and about. He thinks it's a hand shower though :( Actually he can get a few ounces into his tummy.

He mainly only wants to be in the bouncer which is a bit tricky. He loves playing with his toys too but NOT in the baby nest,
but sat up. He still has the tendency to keel every now and again so I find myself achieving little...

Got myself out of the doghouse with an A* plus double first Grin

ok more later- oh and head i hope that your house has returned to a sick free and healthy zone once more. Poor DC :( xx

irishmumwannabe · 31/08/2010 16:52

Hi ladies,

Just having some screen time as Aoife is asleep and I am relxing :-) DH is bring fab and looking after us very well as I lie on the couch/bed.

Thanks a million for the congrats and good wishes - I am so in love with her and DH is completely head over heels. Grin

She is an absolute dote - is sleeping lots and feeding well ( she's not a big eater but isn't screaming at me for food so I'm just going to follow her lead on that)

I'll put pics up on my page now - sorry for no personals but will come back asap and say hello.

BellaBalloon · 31/08/2010 19:11

ahhh congrats again - she is totally beautiful. God I'm quite jealous!! Lovely to hear you sounding so well and great that DH is being good. Hope he is keeping you well fed. I was soooo hungry. It was great.

You snuggle away and nap all you can/want to - personals can wait
xxx

HeadFairy · 01/09/2010 20:37

Bon soir from the south of France. We're on holiday at my mum and dad's so I'm just popping on quickly to say hello and a big congratulations to irish. Aoife is beautiful and you're very clever :o Enjoy these lovely first few weeks!

I can't really post too many personals as I have a large glass of rose getting warm outside (have I mentioned it's 28 degrees outside most days, wall to wall sunshine, cobolt blue skies? hehehehe)

Anyhoooo, I just wanted to whisper one thing to you ladies.... 9 month sleep regression Francesca is showing signs she's starting early! She's over all her tummy upsets now, and eating again, but won't be fed anything at all, will only feed herself but gets really really frustrated that she can't do it fast enough, as crawling so much has made her ravenous. She's also moving so fast it's not true. So now she's waking up at least three times a night. I've had two weeks of 4 hours sleep a night, and as her sleep regression at 4 months was really noticeable, I'm just assuming that this is the start of the next sleep regression. Fingers crossed it only lasts a month like last time.

Anyway, back to that rose....:o

Laters xx

Sunnydale · 01/09/2010 20:53

Irish she is gorgeous! You all look so blissed out! Bet you're glad to be home. You'll be amazed at how fast you recover from your EMCS with Aoife to focus on. Love really helped me to forget about the discomfort (oh, all right, pain then).

Wasabi am so impressed with your jam making - and even more so with your gin making! I was reading about the bloke behind Tyrrells crisps, and how he diversified into gin-making... maybe that could be a little sideline for you Grin. The most sophisticated drink I ever made from scratch was Blue Bols in the eighties (giving away my age here) and it was undrinkable. Thanks for your understanding about my job: I was worried I sounded ridiculous or, worse, as though I had an inflated sense of my own importance.

Blue how is Ben's teething? It does make it hard for them to sleep at night. And blimey - you're a size 8!! I haven't been that since I was about 21! I have tried making salad for tea instead of pasta, but all it does is make me reach for the crisps half an hour later. I have no discipline whatsoever when it comes to food Blush. Am sure you're an expert on teething by now but do you have one of those rubber giraffe things?: They seem all the rage round my way. I'd never heard of them myself but loads of my friends swear by them. And also amber necklaces, which I assumed were some bizarre fashion accessory but apparently help calm the gums (??)

Bella, just looked at your youtube clip of baby G. What a gorgeous boy. He looks so happy and relaxed.

All fine here. Can scarcely believe that my eldest is starting school in 2 weeks. Where did the time go? I had a lovely day today: took Tubba to a baby massage class and it was so nice, I only wish I'd gone sooner. Can't bear the thought of going back to work: it's so full-on. Have decided to extend maternity leave till January. It's such a precious time.

Am properly in love with Colin Firth. Yes, that's how much of a middle-class, middle-aged cliche I am. Am watching some dire 2003 romcom that's on TV, just because he is in it. You know what I like most about him? That he loves his wife and never whores his family out to the media. Oh, and he's super-clever, apparently. If he ever had an affair I would be devastated!
Right, I'll shut up now Blush

Hello to everyone else

BellaBalloon · 01/09/2010 22:33

sunny!! that's so funny. tee hee. I can't believe your DD is starting school. I'm already weepy at the thought of G on his first day and it's 4 years away Grin (I too have been on the rose, but in sunny London. head I am very Envy at the fact you are in the South of France and even more so that your parents have a house there. living the dream. but EEEEEEK at sleep regression on the back of a sick bug. I hope that someone is letting you sleep during the day. Sleep deprivation is the pits.
G is being quite annoying with his eating too. He insists on shoving his hand in whatever I'm feeding him which inevitably means that he then ends up with food in his hair, behind his ears, allll over the high chair. blue are you letting Ben feed himself? is he doing a bit of a combo? or mainly lumpy purees? For some reason i just imagine that chez vous, it's not quite the muuppet show swedish chef extravaganza that it is at our house. does he just get a weeny bit on his chin?Envy

Food wise i need to get more creative again. I feel like I have a basic palette and just mix together different combinations of root veg/ lentils/pasta/rice/sauces. Seems to work quite well although tomorrow he will get his first tate of moroccan chicken which we are both pretty excited about. Oh and stuff on toast and bits of fruit always go down well but other than that haven't come up with anything that actually wokrs as finger food. I'm looking forwards to him learning that mushy oatibix are actually easier to eat from the spoon in mummy's hand...Hmm

I had 10 mammas and baybees over today so feeling a bit pooped but it was lovely to be sat in the garden in the glorious sunshine. Might be the last time this year.
night all xxx

feeding back to sleep at 4:30 has, i am very sad to say, stopped working as of the last couple of nights. So I am going to try to steal myself for a resettle without feed tonight. if any of you have any energy going spare please bung it this way Grin x

waves to wasabi and jumping and our newmama
so sorry to hear about your awful nights too jumping. bloody teeth.

Sunnydale · 02/09/2010 21:30

Bella, can't remember if there is some rule or other pertaining to spinach before 1 year old (iron overdose? excess of greenness?) but spinach sauce is a big hit in the Sunny household. Saute some onions in butter with a bit of garlic if desired, add some milk, wilt some spinach in said milk, pop it all in the blender, puree it, pop it back in the saucepan and add some grated cheese till it dissolves. Bingo: a versatile, healthy bright green sauce for pasta or anything else. Note the frequent use of "some" to describe all the measurements: I just bung it all in. Sometimes it's a bit too runny, but who cares?!

It sounds to me like G is getting a brilliantly varied diet, so well done you. FWIW I do think a varied baby diet leads to an unfussy toddler. My DD is a lot less fussy than her pals (apparently, she is an anomaly for still enjoying tomatoes) and I like to think it's coz I fed her all sorts as a babba, but who knows, she might just be greedy Grin like her mama.

Now tell me, am I a freak for never having heard of Sophie the Giraffe? Honest to god it (she?) had passed me by, but suddenly every baby I meet is clutching one. Tubba is suffering a bit with the old teething I think (much hand chewing but no crying so far) so I'm off to hunt one down tomorrow. Anyone ever used one?

Quick bonjour to to Head over in Paradise as I can hear Tubba stirring - sorry to hear about F's sleep regression. God, I remember that bit with DD. Get that wine down you and enjoy the sunshine.

And hello new mama! Give that baby a kiss on her downy crown from me xx

BellaBalloon · 03/09/2010 07:34

will give that spinach one a whirl for sure. thanks sunny!

Sophie is a permanent presence in our buggy. G seems to like her hooves the best... xxxx

bluesatinsash · 03/09/2010 15:32

OK, OK so is Sophie the Giraffe the same as the teething giraffe? Confused Grin. Can someone post a link so I can buy her/him/it!

Firstly Irish you need to change your name as you are wannabe no more Smile. Hope you are recovering well and aoife is settling into life chezirish, bless her little curled up like a comma newborn stage

Sunny - no more teeth from Benjyboy. He still has two fang like top incisors and bottom two teeth. He's actually been unwell this week with viral infection (latin sounding bellainfa-thingy)which we thought was his teeth but progressed to him having sore ears and a rash Sad. He's much better now though after a few nights being in beside Mummy . Loving your spinach recipe - you cook like I cook, just bung stuff it in and serve up with a flourish Grin

Bella we do a mix of finger food (toast with humous/macaroni cheese/cucumber/melon with spoon fed meals. He was terrible at grabbing the spoon off me to begin with and I had to operate a three spoon system but he quickly realised if he let me spoon it in he got the food in quicker Smile.

Agree with Sunny that more variety of food as babies = less fussy toddlers. Isaac is four and will eat most things and yes he loves chips and tomato sauce but also tuna lasagne, chicken caserole, pasta carbonara, mousaka atc.

Did you get strict with G's 4.30am wake up Confused? Lovely image of you and 10 other mammies sitting in the sun enjoying supping up the rays and savouring the babies. I think we'll all be in our opaque tights and winter woolies before the month is out - boo.

wasabi - Envy at your jam making skills Smile. Dare I ask if you have gotten strict with C's night waking? Stop throwing cushions at me!! re: cBeebies. Isaac and me have an agreement that he has tv at brekkie, lunch and tea time and it is OFF in between. Its much easier now he is at pre-school as he misses his toys and wants to play with them when he gets in rather than slump on couch watching 'Big City Park'. BTW I may have one size 8 top but have chunky Scottish farming legs topped off with cankles that no ankle strap can fit round Grin. I am a complete 50/50 Mum and Dad with my Dad's skinny top half and my Mum's chunky bottom half.. Pear shaped if you like Grin. Wide leg trousers and tight tops pour moi.
