Primary school outcome for dd today . They say that the emails will be sent out by 6pm (though may take longer to get through to us).

50ft i have no idea about when they should be able to catch, but to me that sounds very impressive!

i have the opportunity to hold 2 newborns recently and have avoided it - they are so small (even the 9lb 4oz ones )! i don't think i would know how to hold one any more... will have to get over that in the next 3 months!

my laptop died a while ago - using dh's ... and it's about to die, too.
Fingers crossed it lasts a little while at least.

Yes, I'm near the theme park, Ronshar

No idea about catching. Q can catch sometimes and not others - depends on what it is and how it is thrown/tossed...etc.

SO happy to be done with this course. I hate commuting into london. Train is fine, but then changing to the tube... it sucks. I don't know how I did that so often when we lived and worked in central london. Horrid. I'm old.

Q is talking SO MUCH. I'm so impressed. Mind you, I'm sure I@m the only one who can understand him but he's babbling away and repeating what we say and remembering things. Better late than never, I guess.

How's life with 3, csws? Your pics are gorgeous. What a lovely baby. I'm still always and amazed that the little newborn was just days ago inside of a woman's body. It's mind boggling. Miraculous.

coconutfeet · 05/07/2010 20:59

Gorgeous little boy CSWS. How are you feeling now?

S has more teeth coming through. The fantastic thing is that he was able to tell me what the problem was. Breakthrough!

I can't believe you've both got so little time left Heather and Ksal. How exciting!

I've ordered that Shred DVD Pistachio. Now I'm worried it'll kill me.

heather1980 · 05/07/2010 21:22

star A has only really started talking in the last month or so, the word no features quite a lot!

have been to parents evening tonight and DD got a glowing report, her key worker says that she is quite advanced in some areas and they are worried that she'll be bored next year as she'll still be in preschool (she's 4 in october) so they are starting her on advanced stuff in september. proud mummy moment!

i am so tired, and am measuring a week or so ahead. ds was 9lb 5oz and new baby is looking like he'll be about the same!

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/07/2010 21:59

Afterpains worse this time. Sciatica still bad. Tired. otherwise i'm great thanks .

OP posts:
ronshar · 05/07/2010 22:22

Afterpains were horrible with number three for me. Dont last as long though.
I hope MrCSWS is helping out loads.

StarExpat · 06/07/2010 08:31

Afterpains I hope they go away soon.
Yes, MrCSWS, I'm sure you're lurking with all of your free time so do make sure you're doing everythingdoing as much as you can so csws can rest. I've heard that in extreme circs, a male can lactate. just a thought....

Q pulls at my ponytail too. It hurts! But I can't cut it short. Post pics to fb!! I'm sure you look gorgeous

ronshar · 07/07/2010 09:55

Myjob are you all better? Has the sunshine sorted you out? Canine teeth seem to come through a bit easier than the molars. Must be the pointy end!
Have fun with the DVD. Take it easy.

Pistachio. Have you got pictures of the new do? Im sure it is gorgeous.

Ksal & Heather. Not long now

50ft. You have bred genius children. I'm sure it is all your genes and not DH

I am having my hair done today. What shall I do. Cut it off as it is driving me mental or persevere and try and get the long hair I always want after I have cut it off??
Also as I am going to be on mumsnet TV on Friday I have to at least try and look like I havent been dragged through a bush!
Does anyone have any questions to ask Boris Johnson? All I can think about is touching his hair which may get me arrested
You London ladies, anything?

Ekka · 07/07/2010 11:54

Oooh, you have to ruffle his hair - it reminds me of Matthew's hair just after he's woken up in the mornings! Its now even harder to take him seriously (Boris that is, not Matthew.....)

DH says..... if we can arrange something for when we're all free, that we can have a Summer meet-up/BBQ at our house during the Summer Holiday period. We will need time to tidy dig up the garden and sort new garden furniture (creatures have eaten ours!). It would be lovely to see everyone again. Our if you don't fancy coming to ours, maybe we could sort something else out.

Ronshar - Short hair is more interesting. You're a very pretty lady so you would definitely be able to carry it off. I can't think of anything to ask Boris.

CSWS - Hmm..... afterpains are a HUGE reason for me not to have another one! They're apparently worse with a c-section because of the scarring and bugger me, they were bad with M! Hope everything settles down and that you're enjoying life with three.

Myjob - Hope you're all feeling better soon. Poor N, she really seems to suffer with her teeth!

Star - I am SO glad Q is finally chattering away! Must be a big relief to you and is perfect evidence that they do things in their own time.

StarExpat · 07/07/2010 14:09

Nice to have you back 50ft!!! Yes summer meet up sounds fab. Shall we aim for last week in July?

Ekka · 07/07/2010 14:20

Oooh, we might actually be around last week in July....

50ftQueenie · 07/07/2010 14:21

Hmmm.... might be doable but we're quite busy that week as DS's birthday is on the 31st. I'll speak to DH. We're fine to do a weekend if it's after you go back to school Star.

ronshar · 07/07/2010 14:43

Bottled it. Still long, but no greys.
Must leave the house and pick up children

KSal · 07/07/2010 14:59

pistachio i thought you were suggesting that ronshar cut boris johnson's hair cut off

Aw, Ronshar! You should have had a Boris cut in tribute!

Just thought.... Star, you might actually expire if you come to my house! It's MESSY!

Pistachio - I want to come up to visit you at some point. I remember afterpains . They scared me, I thought something had ruptured! If I moved after feeding M (which I normally needed to as she would take so long) I felt as if I had been stabbed. They would put me on my arse they were so painful!
