MrsMiamla · 30/04/2010 13:02

oh oops thats great news that Hector's grown etc I'm so pleased! you must be relieved to say the least!
shame about strepB but hey, at least you know. Were you routinely swabbed?or it is still the case that you have to nag them to test for it?

Thanks guys for trying to save me money

Sadly the ones VG linked to, although Mothercare says up to 25kg, if you acually look at the proper product description it says only 18kg . I was very taken with the Britax Evolva 123 too, esp with the reclining, but it is a no-go. Maybe I should get DS over to the HotMamas

Oops that's great news. Is DD2 head down and ready to go? Ooh exciting

cyteen · 30/04/2010 13:34

It is exciting oops! Sometime soon there will be a beautiful new baby in the world...

(yes yes I know that thousands of babies arrive in the world every single second, but I mean OUR world)

I need to stop thinking about little silky soles of feet and chubby-cheeked yawns.

CaptainCaveman · 30/04/2010 13:52

Right with you mrsm on not really having recognisable words unless you are on the same wave length..O has learnt the first line of baa baa black sheep. Only his version goes "ba ba a ee" sooo cute

great news re scan oops how many weeks are you now?

MrsMiamla · 30/04/2010 14:08

i can confirm in oops absence that she is 14 weeks ahead of me and i'm erm hang on i'll check the calendar....22 weeks today so that means she's 36 weeks hmm that doesn't seem right, thought she was coming up to 37
steps away from trying to be helpful... i have no idea!

as you were girls

MrsMiamla · 30/04/2010 14:13

perhaps i'm 23 weeks? dizz is 9 behind me so hang on so that makes me 22. unless dizz isn't 13
oh dang...i give up!

where's our stats queen when you need her?!!

MrsMiamla · 30/04/2010 14:20

right, i've counted back from my due date and I am 23 weeks today so oops is 37 and dizz is 14

CaptainCaveman · 30/04/2010 14:23

hooray for pg brains. And how fab to be a week further than you thought

hotterpotter · 30/04/2010 14:23

LOLOL

MrsMiamla · 30/04/2010 14:28

oh i'm soo pleased i'm entertaining you all! i did a fucking degree in maths and i'm having trouble adding simple numbers!!! my poor brain didn't get a chance to recover after 1st pg so there's no hope now of ever recovering!!

girls, what shall i do this afternoon? all i've achieved so far (apart from my brief moment of mathematics genius) is eat cake, drink tea and feed DS. shall we go out for a walk? should i tidy up the hall? problem is that DS is quite happily pottering around in his wellies which is leaving me to drink tea and eat more cake!

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/04/2010 14:57

I have just had a call from the hospital and they have realised they have my due date wrong according to them I am a week behind so 36 not 37 - Unless I found out at 3 weeks I was 5 weeks PG and had tested positive before I had even OV they are wrong. MW rang wilst we were at music check but it means they won't induce until 2 weeks past their dates or 3 weeks past mine Also my 12 weeks scan (at 10 weeks) gave me a date of the 22 not the 28th which is what they have. I am now confuzzed and sad that I might have to wait and EXTRA week to meet DD2. It also means DD2 is going to be a 15lb whopper if I have to wait that long!

Drink tea and eat more cake Miamla! I was swabbed on L&D on Saturday night when I was leaking waters - no routine testing here at all!

GardeniaOfEden · 30/04/2010 15:37

Oh my word how frustrating to find out dates may be wrong!!

Look at me - my new skin. This is going to be vair vair tiring.

Either
(a) I never type anything interesting
(b) I keep changing my name
or
(c) I run out of a, b, c options

As I am a naturally scintillating, stimulating poster I will be forced into (b) a la Cod.

LadyGardenia · 30/04/2010 15:39

snigger

geddit

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/04/2010 15:43

VG - what have you been drinking this afternoon??

cyteen · 30/04/2010 15:43

You must keep it FOREVER

I've been tempted by a namechange too...

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/04/2010 15:43

Can I have some please??

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/04/2010 15:45

My dates are correct, scan dates are correct but because some trumped up little member of the obstetrics team made a mistake - He is right and me and my scans are wrong!

LadyGardenia · 30/04/2010 15:51

Who do you think I am, your midwife??? I'm not about to give a heavily pg woman the vino.

No I mean because of the FB/Twitter link thing, a bridge too far maybe for me. Not that I usually overshare or am disloyal to the loved uns or anything like that but just ... ick, keep out...

lwfhthebagpipeplayer · 30/04/2010 15:52

cyteen yes, babies are just wonderful. Smiley, non sleepy, laughing, tiny little people.

My map liking is more of the road atlas, ordnance survey type. This is map heaven. But yes, the maps at the British museum are on my list of things to see the next time we are in the UK.

Re: the no words thing. I am wondering when DS's noises are going to change into clear words. Deawa for water is great, but neitheer water, nor agua.

Must go and cook.

Eat biscuits.

oopsandbabycoconut · 30/04/2010 16:07

VG - I don't even know what or how twitter works so you are are on that front from me. As for FB - WHY would I want to share my drivel from here with anyone but you lot?? The logos also need to move to the end of the line it ruins my line of sight!

cyteen · 30/04/2010 16:16

'Eat biscuits', is that an order? Not one I'll have trouble obeying, tbf...have just slogged through 31 pages of learned discourse on post-9/11 apocalypse imagery, blargh, why did I ever start this bloody MA?
