Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
chipmonkey · 24/03/2011 16:52

Oh, you found us, Peachy!Smile was just about to msg you with a link!

EllieG · 24/03/2011 19:52

Hey peachy!
Nothing exciting from me (defo no bfp as DH has just had the snip, so would be somewhat surprised) but life all good as normal. Hows all you and yours? Bas OK?

SanctiMoanyArse · 27/03/2011 10:45

All's OK here. Still plugging on with the MA, and doing a day a week in a SN Base before applying for teaching in 2012 when DH graduates; Social Work was abandoned as the bursaries to cover the top up costs disappeared in cuts but that's OK, I love my class atm. Bas is fine; he's being sort-of watched for AS in that we all know he's a little different but whether it's diagnossable is another thing- we shall see. No panics yet. Harry is thriving at his Base; Sam has a comp place in a ridiculously ahrd-to-get-into ASD Base in September (one of 2 kids selecetd from almost 40 applicants- fell a bit guilty tbh that the other kids miss out) and ds2 is ds2 LMAO. All's well. Deffo no more babyies ehre; love them but genes don't LOL. Still bf Bas but only as he's such a picky eater and with the dairy intol it's the best guarantee of nutrition, no uber-BF message intended.

Lovely to see people again; truly though thread had vanished. Can't believe it's 3 years since THAT thread! Great memories though.

EllieG · 27/03/2011 22:20

Yeah, in some ways seems such a long time ago, and other times like it's flown by. Glad Bas and all your brood doing so well. Molly is lovely and terrible by turn - today she hit me really hard (deliberately) but then a minute later ran up and flung herself on me and told me she loved me 'more than the world', so I decided not to punch her back, which was probably the best option (though possibly not as satisfying Wink).
Thread is very quiet - I dip in and out, and had a good few months away as had no 'puter, and others seem to be the same, but not very many now.

Have just eaten own weight in cake, oh god, am going to pop. Must sleep.

chipmonkey · 27/03/2011 23:09

Envy at even wanting cake. Am in hyperemesis hell.

SanctiMoanyArse · 28/03/2011 11:48

Ouch poor you CM, am NOT envious at all now- done enough of that. What meds (if any) are you on?

chipmonkey · 28/03/2011 13:39

Nothing prescribed but have found Vitamin B6 has helped somewhat. Got stuck in the middle of an argument between Mum and MIL, MIL saying I should take meds and Mum saying no because of thalidomide! Have to say, I am feeling a little better today so am hoping it has peaked. Dh and I are supposed to be going to Tenerife next week and I don't fancy puking on the plane or spending 3 days seeing only the hotel room.

SanctiMoanyArse · 28/03/2011 14:51

Yes, know a few who ahve had B6 (did you have it last time? I had with all 4 and helped on HG helpline for a bit), know a few who swear by acupuncture as well/ I took avomine- been around for years.

chipmonkey · 28/03/2011 17:01

I have always been sick but this is without a doubt the sickest I've been. I never before had to take to my bed with it and was unable to cope on ds2's confirmation day, my Mum did everything. I had to go to bed with all the guests in the house!Blush Am seeing my obs on Friday again so may ask for some magic pills if I'm not feeling better by then.

SanctiMoanyArse · 28/03/2011 17:18

Do ask, they may tell you nothing is guaranteed safe in poregnancy but that's not really true, they can;t do teh tests but plenty have been used for absolutely years with no ill effects.

I do remember there being a correlation between HG and sleep deprivation so rest, rest adn rest a little more. Choose foods with a high water content adn experiment with temps- sometimes women cn keep hot or cold food down better (I was always OK with cold) so try ive pops and hot drinks; focus on hydration, melon, lettuce etc are useful if drinks don't work out.

And no, doesn;t mean youa re having a girl. (BTW What is a girl? ) LOL Wink

chipmonkey · 28/03/2011 19:05

no, not labouring under any illusions there!Grin

I am currently attending a reading class for parents of poor readers for ds3's class. Ended up chatting outside with 3 other Mums. Turns out that between us, we have 17 sons and no daughters! I have already on another thread committed myself to running naked around the Phoenix Park if this is a girl!Wink

EllieG · 28/03/2011 22:14

God CM that sounds horrendous, I hope it clears up for your holiday x

chipmonkey · 29/03/2011 15:48

What, Ellie me running naked around the Phoenix Park horrendous, or my morning sickness? If the former, can I assure you that I am still a fine figure of a woman!Grin

EllieG · 29/03/2011 18:49

No no CM! I'm sure they'll be lining up for the park outing Grin

Scorps · 30/03/2011 20:27

Hello Grin

no real news, just normalness. Had amazing hairdo on saturday that some jealous cow tried to pull out...and slept til 4pm Grin. Very tired.

No, none of you want girls. Mimi is excellent at saying no, with a foot stamp!

Miss Mum and Dad, have a couple of 'interests'.... Wink, have put on 4lb (yuck) ... and no more AD's!

hope you're all ok, have already congratualtedthe pregnant ones....

Sorry LadyBee Sad

Scorps · 30/03/2011 20:30

I put up a hair picture on my profile. Oh and i went up to leeds and had swarovski pedicure, was pretty amazing!

Scorps · 30/03/2011 20:39

oh, i forgot..... Grin I'm getting divorced Grin. I started it, we ran out of space for unreasonable behaviour... Grin Hmm

EllieG · 30/03/2011 20:59

Wow to the hair! It's fab! And well done you for getting rid of the useless husband. Seriously - new life, new beginnings, new choices, all of them yours. You'll do great matey x

chipmonkey · 31/03/2011 00:42

I already "liked" your hair on FB, Scorps! You're just fishing now!Grin

Good for you on the divorce!

Scorps · 31/03/2011 09:19

Well, the hair needs appreciation Grin. Sadly its just normal again now, but i can do it again. Ex still goes on to me, his girlfriend has friends in common with me and asks them things about me (Honestly I'm flattered, she must think I'm interesting!). Am thinking about working in a summer job, Cornwall is full of them and the Jobcentre help out with all that - childcare and a back to work bonus thing. I feel lazy now.

I seriously cannot stop eating....I have very slowly been putting weight back on....4lbs in 2 months, I'm 8st exactly now.

No more AD's.... Goddness, am I 'better'?

Have also been learning to drive Grin I really love it.

chipmonkey · 31/03/2011 14:33

Eating is good! Probably not at the excessive level to which I do it, mind you, but you do need fuel to keep going!

The job idea sounds good, get you out of the house and into some adult company.Smile

EllieG · 31/03/2011 19:37

I just took a nose at your photos CM - your boys are gorgeous - so smiley looking Grin

chipmonkey · 31/03/2011 21:55

Oh, they're usually grumpy. Had to dose them with laughing gas to get those pics!Wink

EllieG · 31/03/2011 22:00

Are they excited about new baby? How do you think Harry will be?
