i do feel better having spoken to a friend who is great.

Good Scorps at least you've got someone there to talk these things through with. I sometimes find that difficult here, even though I have friends it's not quite the same as talking it through, face to face with my best friend.

Can't complain though. How are the kids? Sam is now dashing around all over the place and he just loves to climb ... little tinker :o I didn't think we'd see him getting about like this this soon IYSWIM. It's fab - the cat doesn't think so though :o

Soph I looked a Sam's photo and remember being confused about the penguins then got distracted. Looks sooooo grown up!!

So not only is my childminder pregnant but so am I, apparently. This my 5th pregnancy with 1 child to show for it, so I'm not feeling very positive but am getting medication for clotting etc sorted and then just basically crossing fingers and hoping for the best. That sounds v casual, sorry, am terrified but trying to keep it all under wraps and not panic too much. Desperately want it to work this time.

ToddlerBee seems to be developing a fear of the dark. We got him a little pink pig nightlight (his choice) but I still hear him getting up and switching on a lamp that lights most of the room. I wondered if anyone has any tips - maybe books or something that deal with the issue (storybooks), he quite like stories about potties etc when we were training so thought that might be a good way to approach.

Hey there LadyBee. I just want to say a very nonchalant congratulations and hope & pray that everything goes OK. Am also keeping everything crossed for you. Unfortunately I can't offer any advice on the nightlight situation. For some funny reason DS1 didn't have a nightlight in his room until he was about 5 or 6 years old!! I think the only reason he did was because it was something he found in a box in his room and as he'd never used it I suppose he thought he should LOL :)

Hi all it's SuperSoph. What do you think of new name? It's been 3 days since either myself or DH have had a cigarette so things are a little fraught. The funny thing is that one of my colleagues told another the other day that an ex-colleague was pregnant. Ex-colleague has the same name as me. Colleague A thought Colleague B meant me and said "Do you really think she's pregnant, I mean 5 kids!"
And Colleague A told me about the conversation afterwards and was laughing at the unlikeliness of it.

I had only done the pg test the day before and I swear I felt myself blush!

Well i met him a month ago, he's VERY shy so it's taking a while....but he accidentally stayed over the other night . He's very sweet and knows about the kids etc, I'm keen to see him again, but i'm a little confused - hes spoken to me several times since leaving mine (hes away this weekend) but no plans so far...when i say shy though i mean VERY VERY. And my GOD he's so very very very hot.

Hmm, I don't know. He must know i like him, though we have lots of friends in common and apparently he's blind to womens intentions of him....He is not known for ahem 'spreading' himself around either, he's very friendly when we see each other (didnt leave me all night when i saw him out, left his friends etc and he well snuggled me all night lol), and everyone just says how shy he is. He has an identical twin - who came on to me, lol. idiot.

I am starting divorce on Friday . i hate him, im so angry, i keep being extremely vile to him. its like i want him to know what a shit he is, i keep making him cry, etc. He has learnt nothing - still going on at me but has a gf. i told him to shove it.
