hello all
Zombie boo- I would love the extreme survival one. right up my street (or is it up my mountain)

BB- reading your posts takes me back 6 years. Ds1 is also a 4th april baby and a very early walker/do everythinger. He's still like that now, G&t (working two years above for maths) etc. Its very tiring. He also never slept until I cracked just before ds2 was due and did a sort of controlled crying / crossed with pick up put down (nowhere near as horrible as SWMNBN)

You lot talk about how much they feed and what solids and when and how much they sleep and everything and I'm so embarrassed that I just don't notice what I do and when.
I do seem to have forgotten what I fed all the others though so ideas for BLW food would be good. I have bags of different organix things for days when its just not finger food food but I need more.

Its only taken me three days to catch up on the thread and now I'm posting I can't remember any of the things I wanted to say

Hello to newbies and welcome back to oldies

kingbeat23 · 31/10/2009 14:29

Bronze, hello, im a newbie and my DD is also a 04/04....she's into everything rolled backwards and forwards before hers best friend who is 4 weeks older than her and seems to advance quickly....doesnt sleep and eats well!!

Maybe I should go back to my hippy roots and get a reading for that day...see if there's anything in there - BB have you ever done that?

Anyhow, another night of no sleep and thinking DP was going to stick to my "schedule" neither did I, but no, he wanted to go back to sleep so put her in her bed too! hey ho, a weeks worth of trying to stick to certain times down the pan...cheers DP

and breath and relax...rant over! cheers guys!

zombieBOO · 31/10/2009 17:18

Just facebook me your addresses ladies and I'll send those books out on Monday. Didn't manage to do so today.

kazkissofdeath · 31/10/2009 19:23

Hiya just a quickie questions re: readings etc. I am a completely typical gemini! But i wonder how it works with regards to my twins cos obviously they were born on the same day within 2 mins of each other. And at the moment have completely diffrent personalities???

kingbeat23 · 31/10/2009 19:33

Kaz - To my knowledge, readings are done by the time of day, so could explain why they're different?? My BF has twin boys are her 2 are the same but different too....7 mins apart?

BoffMonster · 31/10/2009 22:09

Yay! Felix slept right through last night! I feel almost human again!!

And Auld is coming to stay tomorrow!! I don't Felix has ever properly met another baby before.

We dressed Felix as a pumpkin this evening and DH tool him out with the boys "Trickle treating" as DS2 calls it. Felix had a great time and the boys reckoned they got extra sweets because he was so cute!

bronze · 01/11/2009 10:35

Well done Felix

Anyone seen Puzz recently?

dawntigga · 01/11/2009 10:51

Waves to all.

Has anyone else noticed their partners/whatevers regression to a 4 year old when they don't get their own way? Or is that just me?

bronze · 01/11/2009 11:27

mines just beena grumpy arse lately. doesnt talk to me unless its whingeing or talking about spending money on his latest hobby

Feierabend · 01/11/2009 12:02

H went all the way to 5.30am too and then back to bed until 7.30 after a quick feed but I seem to have forgotten how to sleep - I was tossing and turning all night.

I don't talk to DH - saves us arguing.

tristalewjac · 01/11/2009 12:14

Hey guys apologies for posting the other day with promises of being back then disappearing!!! Bloody phone is not as amazing as I thought.
Hope you all had a lovely halloween weekend.
Just wanted to give you a wee quick run down on what's happening with exP. He was coming in every sunday for 3 hours (that's if he didn't cancel for reasons which were absolute shite) to see L. In July he came in and started shouting at me so I told him to leave. This was in front of L, not DS1 as he was away. So after this my solicitor sent him a letter saying that if he came into my house and shouted at me or acted aggressively again he'd be asked to leave and contact would be stopped.
So he came in again and in front of both my boys and my mum, starting shouting at me and calling me names. He was asked to leave and he got the letter saying he wasn't allowed back.
So that's where it was left until only 2 weeks ago, when he finally got himself a solicitor. I got a letter through which was so full of lies, it hurt like hell. He said I exaggerated all the aggressiveness, and said that I'd promised to give him residential contact from when L reached 6 months.
Thankfully my solicitor managed to word the reply very well, basically saying it was a shame he wasn't willing to accept any responsibility for the aggression he's shown me.
It's the fact he chooses to act like this in front of my kids. That's what shocks me. Ds1 is still and will probably always be scared of exP now after witnessing that.
Anyway hopefully one day we'll have it sorted. I've offered him supervised contact in a contact centre so am just waiting for his reply to that.

tristalewjac · 01/11/2009 12:22

That was quite a depressing post! so here

NuttSlasher · 01/11/2009 13:28

Trista ((HUGS)) why is it that men turn into right pricks after a break up, makes you wonder how we ever got with them in the first place sometimes. what an awful way to behave. big hugs to DS1 as well. if its any consolation my actuall divorce papers from chris is all a pile of BS as well (well what was in the draft was, i still havent been served with the actuall petition yet) it seems as though he's just trying to hurt you for the sake of it swetheart keep doing what you're doing though, you're amazing xxxxx

tristalewjac · 01/11/2009 13:33

I have no idea why he's turned out like this. I was always willing for him to see L, I just said it must always be civilised. He turned out to be a mean and nasty peice of work. I have texts on my phone from him calling me nasty lying bitch and what the f*ck do you thing you're doing, etc.
Well you know what, it's his loss.

dawntigga · 01/11/2009 14:38

trist keep the texts! Should you ever need to go to court they are there.

SMOOCHES

BoffMonster · 01/11/2009 16:49

This must be a fanjo warrior first!!!

Auld is holding Felix so I can type!!! Yes, this is a joint post!!!!!

Auld is a minging old cow and her children are insane.

Boff is a grumpy old moo, her house is a tip and her children verging on the feral. Oh, and her Sunday roast is inedible.

Auld breastfed topless in church today.

Boff's husband does nothing but drink lager all day long, and he curses endlessly.

Auld feeds her children FRUIT SHOOTS and has a supply of GREGGS SAUSAGE ROLLS in her suitcase. She imports them to France!!!!!

I have spoken to Boff's neughbours, and have it on good authority that she is not a boffin at all. She actually works down the chip shop.

mrsgboring · 01/11/2009 16:57

Hello all

and roffle @ Auld and Boff.

Been mental here as half term merged into DS1's fourth birthday (complete with party), relative visiting, and trip to London to see Wallace and Gromit which we've just got back from. We also met SIL's fiance for the first time, which was lovely.

Anyway, quite stressful. Will try to post more later. Apart from anything else, I am ridiculously proud of DS1's birthday cake and want to post the photos. You have been warned....

dawntigga · 01/11/2009 18:28

LOL glad to see you're having fun.

MustPostAboutMoaningOldSILAtSomePointTiggaxx

kazkissofdeath · 01/11/2009 18:34

lmao @ boff and auld ..... although disapointed to see no mention of boden!!!

WhatFreshBLOODIsThis · 01/11/2009 20:02

Boff, Auld, what have we done allowing you two to join forces! Sounds like you're having a lot of fun

I am finally feeling better from the flu, and have some energy again - I didn't realise quite how exhausted the flu had made me until I felt better. And I went out for a pub lunch today without the boys.....just me and two friends from uni and their respective DPs, it was fab. I could eat and natter in peace with noone needing feeding or wiping or telling off or amusing. Heaven.

Saw two houses yesterday - one has 4 bedrooms and is in really good decorating order but is further away from here than we would like, the other one has 3 bedrooms and needs a bit of work, but has a loft that could be converted into at least one more bedroom and is much closer to work for DP, DS1's nursery, and the schools we've put DS1 down for. Sadly, it's also £10k more expensive.

Decisions, decisions.

trista - sorry to hear about your ex's rubbish behaviour. Must be really tough to deal with on top of bringing up L - hope you can reach some sort of agreement soon

Boff am deeply at F sleeping through the night. Could you get him to have a word with Orbit when he's finished beating up Auld's A? Orbit seems to have mastered some sort of locomotion, as I woke up at 2am and he was in our bed, despite having definitely been put in his cot at 11pm, and neither DP nor I having any recollection of bringing him into bed. Spooky.

BoffMonster · 01/11/2009 20:53

We were just finishing the gin, and we realised a couple of the kids were missing. Has anyone seen any small boys in pyjama bottoms, nursing bras and wellingtons running around?

BoffMonster · 01/11/2009 22:17

THEY ARE MY CHOCOLATE OLIVES!!! GET YOUR HANDS OFF THEM AULD!!!!!

WELL GIVE ME THAT OTHER BOTTLE OF GIN THEN!!!!

zombieBOO · 02/11/2009 08:34

Boff Auld Love it

zombieBOO · 02/11/2009 08:40

Sounds like some fun was to be had this weekend.
Unfortunately My dh and I were not on the best of terms this weekend Mostly my snippy fault I'm a very bad girl sometimes

Moo went from 6 bf a day to 3! yesterday and I'm (.)(.) Dh said did you run off and have a boob job for me? I said No I did it for my boyfriend... we're on slightly better terms this morning as I've had to push him out the door for work all the while he was whining he wanted to stay home and cuddle and kept saying sorry for being so difficult this weekend when he knew I was stressed. He's going to really be late for work as he still has a 2.5 hr drive.
