Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I did notice you'd lost your mind gone for no. 3, yes. On another thread as it happens, not this one. Congratulations

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/01/2010 21:14

Well, saying we'd 'gone for no 3' might be overstating it a bit. More a case of we had sex once in 12 months and struck gold!

mustrunmore · 12/01/2010 21:19

Lol csws. I know a couple who had sex once in 10 years and ended up pg!

TheresSnowDragonHere · 13/01/2010 10:38

[snort]

Frizbe · 13/01/2010 15:59

Flame you know I don't mind an essay on the text! Glad you had a good night

Waves at soupey, who made me giggle

Bloomin Ice day here (school down a hill) and now its snowing loads....so much for work eh!

SparrowFflamau · 13/01/2010 20:18

So, in the space of my baby's short life she has had citalopram (through placenta), anti-emetics (placenta), antibiotics at 6 days old, and now sertraline through my milk. Oh and to top it off she's gained less than 1lb in 5 weeks.

I feel like I'm poisoning her and starving her, and yet I refused to stop breastfeeding.

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/01/2010 20:21

I'm sure that you're neither poisoning nor starving her. You know as well as we do that weight gain isn't the only way to judge whether a baby is getting enough milk and thriving.

I hope that the sertraline helps .

SparrowFflamau · 13/01/2010 20:30

i hope they make my brain start saying things like that, rather than the stuff it is atm

Stupid thing is, before the appointment I was talking to Psycho about people overly worrying about weight , now I'm all flustered about it. She is dinky (compared to the way you'd expect from her at birth), but alert, doing the right things etc. Dude stopped growing at 6 months, and he's fine.

Frizbe · 13/01/2010 23:23

and don't forget that they grow in spurts too, so hardly anything one week isn't a problem.

Frizbe · 15/01/2010 09:01

Boo! so how's it going ladies? where's Phoenix these days?

mustrunmore · 15/01/2010 09:20

I'm here, ish! Going to get my phone back today... hurray! I can text and take photos again! WEnt in yest on hre off chance and it was ready, but obv I didnt have the box and charger for the courtesy one with me. Argh. Apparently its fixed. But they didnt seem to know much, so we'll see

STP PRESS... ds2 can write his name, finally And write 125 cos its our bus number . Its sad tho, cos when I was in nursery yest, I saw some old work of ds1's, and he was writing full words etc at this age

mustrunmore · 15/01/2010 09:22

Btw Falme, I'm not ignoring you but I think I maty have omitted to reply to one of your txts Sorry. Blame this shitty phone.

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/01/2010 09:52

Phoenix is in London atm!

Yay for writing name!

mustrunmore · 15/01/2010 09:53

Oh crap, its now isnt it? She never goot in touch re the staff card. Has anyone got her mobile number? If they have they can get in otuch and I can give her dh's number, and she can call if shewants him to meet her at the entrance and get her in!

SparrowFflamau · 15/01/2010 13:29

i think emrys can write "m"

TheresSnowDragonHere · 15/01/2010 13:37

I remember when DS1 could recognise the letter M and his father was over the moon thinking he was oh-so-bright. Until I looked at him witheringly and pointed to the McDonald's logo. That deflated his fatherly ego rather.

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/01/2010 13:37

Dd has just written a note which says THANK YOU FOR OUR CHRISTMAS PRESENTS LOVE FROM PIPPA AND DUNCAN
I did spell the words for her though.

SparrowFflamau · 15/01/2010 13:44

bet mine climbs better than yours

(DD1 was the same with learning M too )

TheresSnowDragonHere · 15/01/2010 13:47

DD has just carved "wanker" into the coffee table with a spoon she sharpened on the bricks of the fireplace.

TheresSnowDragonHere · 15/01/2010 13:49

(not really. She can only be arsed to learn the letter S)

SparrowFflamau · 15/01/2010 13:52

give her and ds an hour together and i suspect they would have created the spoon pen

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/01/2010 13:54

PMSL soupy!

I reckon my ds might give your ds a run for his money you know!

mustrunmore · 15/01/2010 14:45

I think all kids learn the mACDONALDS 'M' firsrt...

we had music on at nursery yest. 100 top kids theme tunes. ds2 asked if we had a cd with Little Jesus Sweetly Sleep on it

Today he walked straight past the bathroom to go up to his room to wee on the carpet

SparrowFflamau · 15/01/2010 22:36
Jas · 16/01/2010 12:29

ds can draw a face, and recognises numbers.....

I dont think he even knows macdonalds M as he's only beena couple of times.
