Hi everyone,
Well done for finally catching up with the thread books, I admire your dedication! And great news on the potty training. My DS has found his feet too - for the last week or so they have been his absolute favourite toy.
books I thought of you last night strangely enough because I went to bed at 9.30pm and actually opened a book! And even read some. It was about babies though... Rachel Cusk, A life's work, have you read it? Very truthful/ funny/ recognisable/ slightly disturbing.
ray we finally had bowel release at 4am this morning! He never normally poos at night! The sound of it filling his nappy actually woke me up! And him, obviously. Hope Esme works on the other half today.... v at your massage; in my previous life I loved massages, but since having munchkin I haven't managed one yet.
pat LOL at LO joining you for girly night; sometimes it's the easiest thing to do if you've got visitors, rather than spending all night up in their room trying to get them down!
eppm I too am always a bit horrified and apprehensive when I see how rough boys are at toddler age. I don't know how I'll cope if Nye goes around kicking people and being rude, but I'm sure it will come! I was always such a dreamy girl, lost in imaginary worlds of fairies etc, but I am pretty sure boys just don't do that kind of play - they just want to throw things as far as I can make out!
tink looking forwards to pics of perm on fb please!
MM hope the shopping trip is successful and that you find something nice for you.
and dog love all the songs, esp simon and garfunkel, old favourite of mine!
Well I have a very busy weekend ahead which I had better go and start preparing for - lots of guests riding, and lots of family here for the hay festival too. Will be fun but exhausting.
ps LOL at your pedant's apostrophe books - I am the same. I also used to despise the unnecessary over-use of the exclamation mark, but since having a baby I seem to have mellowed!
