Hi all.

Have read through but can't remember

Love the clothes all of them. No monsoon for 50 miles, but tbh I don't suit them too well. I don't have an hourglass figure which I think Monsoon cater for.

Knackered here too, big style. Had a few hours in our depressing town today, wish I hadn't as it drags me down tbh. Hey ho, Hatts was good and slept for an hour in the pram so had a wander.

At least not in Kingston becasue if I was would be bankrupt!! For sure. Very as it's a lovely place. I had a friend who I'm sure went to same school. She was one of 6 and has white blond hair? Would be 35ish I think.

Tomorrow is huge for me, on the 7am train with Hatts for 2.5 hours trip to 1st meeting for egg donation.

I have to sort out a travel bag for us both and get all my questions detailed, mostly about bf and relactation after the treatment, and also do bikini line and legs etc, as there will be scans. It's all day to include counselling, the on 6pm home so back about 8.30.

I might start a thread, people might like to follow it.

Oooh I hope Hatts is good
AM fecking knackered. Had 2 better nights and they have me shattered, I think my body likes the sleep and wants more!

DD1 has just gone of to nana's, so she is there all tommorow. And dh has an interview for a PCSO thingiemibob. Ok pay and better conditions. Fingers crossed! Thats all day too, its all role play and scenarios. Urgh!

treedelivery · 20/05/2009 19:24

Lol at link to depressing.

Clearly I am very tired indeed.

missjackson · 20/05/2009 19:34

tree you should def start a thread, it's really interesting. Such a big commitment though, esp with a tiny baby (and not even a 'simple' one at that!) - you have one very lucky friend.

elkie and hkz let's def meet up and compare hair loss; I will be in Muswell Hill but happy to venture out - will have my car, but can also do bus/ tube etc. Although Highgate woods does have a lovely cafe! . Let me know thoughts. Maybe on fb so we don't hijack the thread!

Eating tyrells salt & pepper crisps instead of cooking - yum! But must start now. Got LO to sleep in record time using white noise! What a great trick. Fingers crossed he stays that way. And I expressed already this afternoon. So pouring a big glass of wine is next on my list....

elkiedee · 20/05/2009 19:36

Yes thanks HKZ, I saw your message. I find it quite hard to log in to Facebook though so I often read FB messages in my email inbox and then can't get in to answer them.

I'll be up at Parliament Hill Fields on Friday afternoon anyway - at the cafe at 2.30, I've said I'd meet a young woman who contacted me through Mumsnet local there.

elkiedee · 20/05/2009 19:38

And if you can't make it this Friday I'm sure we can fix something for another time, hopefully when MissJackson is here.

hongkongzoe · 20/05/2009 19:39

Tree Good luck tomorrow. Tis a very selfless thing to do, so I hope it goes really well and you aren't too exhausted after the long day.

MissJ Also have car, Highgate woods sound good...wouldn't mind a bit of window shopping in Muswell Hill either...lets communicate on FB!

Fingers crossed both dcs are finally asleep, poor DD is all hot and bothered and obsessed with her boogies..nice.

hongkongzoe · 20/05/2009 19:40

Elkie Good idea!

treedelivery · 20/05/2009 19:40

Oh am so so so jelous of people in London.

Hatts has just done a poo. The bubbling lasted 30 seconds. Doesn't sound much - but time it!! Bonkers.

Explains grouchy knickers in the night. Didn't go to jabs or weigh clinic today as she has the snots again.

elkiedee · 20/05/2009 19:43

crossposts/not actually catching up on whole thread, sorry all - MissJ and hkz I'll send you my email address when dp can help log me back into Facebook.

Wishing sweet dreams and lots of sound sleep to all the little ones (and their mums!)

PatTheHammer · 20/05/2009 20:11

Tree- Thats quite some poo Hatts! Lucky she wasn't in a bumbo best of luck for tomorrow, I am VERY interested in how you get on because my sister has been trying for a baby for 4 years and has not been ovulating (she has a DS 6yrs) without clomid, which then makes her release far too many eggs. So we have talked about egg donation if the other possibilities work out. Hope it all goes well, deffo start a thread .

MissJ sounds like a successful night! I have to admit to leaving the t.v on quietly upstairs after I have fed Zach and it often does the trick.

Have a fab meet-up in London, sounds like there is always so much to do there for little ones . We do have some good friends in Camden but their flat is not very baby friendly so DH and I have always stayed there without DD. However I was thinking the other day that DD is perhaps old enough to go with DH for a day out and stay overnight (not that I'm trying to get rid of her or anything you understand )

Strawberries and ice-cream tonight......mmmmm!

treedelivery · 20/05/2009 20:22

here

Your opinions if you are about and have any time or energy!

moosemama · 20/05/2009 20:39

Thanks for the links SAS. I like the idea of a black vest and semi fitted shirt. The Monsoon stuff is lovely, but I don't have the confidence to carry off the patterned kaftan type tops.

We do have a John Lewis, but I'm a bit pathetic and not brave enough to book a personal shopper.

I have looked at the Bravissimo tops, but they all seem to be short sleeved - not a good look with my bingo wings.

I did see a couple of tops on the M&S website that looked hopeful, but today has been manic so haven't looked back at them.

Well, I managed to go for a walk again this morning and was very proud of myself for managing one of my longer routes whilst wearing my MBT's. My legs are killing me now though and when I took of my MBTs I discovered I couldn't walk properly - my legs were all wobbly. I'm aiming at walking at least 4 out of the 5 week days in the vain hope of toning up my legs, bum and abdoment and possibly losing a few pounds into the bargain - thing is, if I walk anywhere near far enough I am totally knackered for the rest of the day.

My usually placid little dd was a nightmare today as well, she cried every single time she was put down and stopped and smiled when she was picked up, which was a total pita as I had so much to get done I was meeting myself coming back. Took her to open evening at ds's school this evening and she was all smiles for all the teachers and parent's, then as soon as we got home she started yelling again! She is now sitting on Daddy's knee whingeing after yelling at the top of her lungs in her swing. She does seem very bitey, so I'm thinking its either the tail end of her cold or she is starting teething.

stripeywoollenhat · 20/05/2009 21:07

dog - no, she's had that bald patch for months, this is hair from all over her head. my mum was round today and she said my hair fell out too, but i never actually went bald, so hopefully she won't either... hope arlo is a bit better this evening

tree, did h's napppy manage to contain the 30 second poo, then? good luck tomorrow.

sorry to hear about all the grouchy sensitive los, we have one here too . thankfully, she is sleeping at the moment.

on a much more cheerful note, my career break was confirmed today. woohoo!

OP posts:
moosemama · 20/05/2009 21:24

Sorry, meant to say good luck tomorrow Tree. Stripey great news about the career break - you can relax and enjoy your freedom now.

Discovered why dd was screaming (on this occasion anyway) she had been stealth pooing as her Daddy calls it. Had absolutely no idea she'd done it as I'd only just changed her and didn't hear/smell a thing! She has been catching us out this week as she seems to have gone back to pooing every day after a few weeks of going every 2-3 days. Still not right though, very dark in colour and proper stinky.

PatTheHammer · 20/05/2009 21:27

Stealth pooing- love it .

DD had play-dough in hers on sunday!

Sorry for your cack day moose

Yay for career break stripey, plans for more stripelets then????

EachPeachPearMum · 20/05/2009 22:06

Evening all...

My hair is starting to come out now too...

moosemama · 20/05/2009 22:21

Dog

Came across this song on the virgin music channel today - really brought back memories of my youth - you're probably too young to remember it though:

wdstf

this is a favourite in our house. Even the boys know it by heart.

This fella is the absolute hero for me and my boys though:

one of my most favourite songs ever

my second favourite

another favourite

this one makes me cry because my Dad used to sing it.

and this one is DS2s favourite all time song:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrjbwVhQOAw

he can do the hips and everything!

Blame Dog folks, I've never thought of looking up music on youtube before.

missjackson · 21/05/2009 20:04

Ooh quiet day on the thread, where are you all?

I am just home after long, long day - Mum& Babies followed by lunch with Mum, then had to drive to Hay to deliver horsey stuff. (our guests do a 3 day ride where we take their luggage from hotel to hotel and the horses stay in a local field). At 6.30pm LO fell asleep in the car on the way home, so when we got back at 7pm I tried to put him straight down (without usual bath). But he had total meltdown, was actually screaming - I thought he must have tummy ache because he hasn't pooed all day. But took him into the bathroom, and laid him on changing mat, and he was suddenly all smiles! So ended up having a lovely bath and now he's asleep. Funny thing.

Hope your day went well tree, you must be exhausted.

And hope your perm was a success tink!
