I had Noah Charles on the 28th March weighing 8lb 9 oz. He has been very poorly with sickness and loose nappies and been in hospital a couple of times in past 2 weeks so quites scary to b honest.

I would like a little advice on how to sleep him as he is now on lactose free milk as had a runny nappies. He will only go an hour or so in the night so shattered what does anybody suggest. He hates the crib and screams when goes in it. I even brought it downstairs for him to get used to and for some reson will just not sleep in it at all so have had him in the carrycot of the bugaboo but unsur eif this is safe or not- does anybody know?

Has anybody else got any idea how i can settle him a little in the eveings/night. Even during the day he is very unsettled and wants picking up all the time. He is very snuffly at the moment but does not have a cold or anything.

Congratualtions to all other new mummies.. oh this is my 4th baby and nver had one like this!

hi there babyalfie - come over here to the March 09 thread.

sorry to hear you're having a difficult time. Have the doctors said what might be wrong with him?

I used a bugaboo carrycot as a moses basket for dd1 - propped up on the moses basket stand - perfectly safe as far as I'm aware.

The only way I can settle dd2 at night is to feed her until she crashes out.

Hopefully otheres will have some tips for you on the March thread

Hopefully, see you on the March thread, Baby Mae also sleeping in her pram at night midwife said it was ok if that was the only place she'd sleep!
