MORNING!

Party was off the charts last night. So was the tiny bit of after party I found myself a party of. I was home before 1AM. And I am positive there are several lovely ladies who have NOT made it out of bed yet. Pictures are starting to grace FB so I might pop up on your stream once or twice before day's end.

Sun is out this morning too!!!! I'm thinking it might be a sunbathing day!!!!!

Wishing all a lovely day. No1, especially you with the christening.

VG I am totally with you on the need for CS and very thankful it's an available option. However, there's a mindset that some doctors have (mine did) that CSs are the BEST means and they "allow" you to labour as you like but given the first opportunity they cut you open. One of my girlfriends from highschool is an OB/GYN and she totally agreed. She sees it all the time and thinks it is crazy that people(docs included) are so "whatever" about CSs since they are MAJOR SURGERY requiring TIME to heal.

Off to eat breakfast and enjoy the lovely lovely weather.

See everyone later!!!

Anyone fancy trying Abel & Cole veggie box delivery? They're doing a recommend-a-friend thing at the mo where you get a free cookbook and I get a £10 credit if you mention my name. They are better than Riverford because you can list what veg you really hate and love.

short lived happy sunday. kinsley puked all over the bathroom just moments after my last post. i kept saying "in the toilet...in the toilet" and for some strange reason the best she could do was all around the toilet. YUK! had to dig out my plastic gloves and bleach. now she wants to play but i've forbidden her to leave her room which is directly across from the loo until i'm sure she's not going to projectile anymore.

at least she saved it for this morning. i think her father would have freaked last night had it happened on his lone watch.

it's NOT going to keep me from sunshine time though. hoping to look a little like this in a few hours.

TwilightSurfer · 05/04/2009 17:33

this does look a bit strange

LoveBuckets · 05/04/2009 17:40

Good luck with the sunshine time, I just got my first batch of freckles for the year at a bbq this afternoon. Factor 30 my arse.

LoveBuckets · 05/04/2009 17:41

That sounds dodgy, I didn't get freckles on my arse at a bbq.

LOL at Real Camping. I'm sure you pointed out that, for mums, Real Camping is not a holiday. Let him do the Real Camping when one or both the girls are old enough to keep him company.

Dizzy I have family and friends all junked up together on my facebook. It was nice back in the day when I could complain about MIL there but not anymore. She's not connected to me and so are almost all of DH's relatives. Oh Well. Guess I'll just save my rants for here.

Sazzles that is too cute and I can hear her saying it too. You know she might make a very good sports announcer one day.

Buckets I was thinking the same thing and giggling. Never know could have been a nudist BBQ.

TwilightSurfer · 05/04/2009 19:03

boo...she is now connected not not connected.

DD1 is asking for salad now. I suppose I should give her what she asks for since she's nothing in her belly. But salad....

dizzychixies · 05/04/2009 19:08

I have loads of family on too BUT this is my SIL's mother - not my family and nothing to do with me they stay about 4 doors away from my SIL & brother etc and am not overly keen on her tbh and could do without her nosing on my FB account - so AIBU?!?!!??

Sazz whatever tent he wants you let him if it means a trip to northeastfife Scotland, you can sleep inside mine

I am Feckin Parenting Genius, all 3 kids in bed by 7pm. DH napping since 6pm after stupid night with DS1 who had a nightmare about 4am. I dealt with it but 10mins later he was off again so I sent DH in. Think he tried sleeping with him but couldn't not get into dialogue with him and took him downstairs to watch TV! FFS it's not like he's a baby who might possibly nod off in front of exciting cartoons aimed at older kids - how was he thinking it would end? Staying in bed is non-negotiable IMO and DS1 knows this but of course he's not going to say no to a pre-dawn telly party with Daddy. I was then too livid to sleep and went down to get DS1 (while DH had gone out for a fag!!!) and got him to sleep with me for a bit. I didn't sleep though because cat then brought in a live mouse so had to wait for all the bumping, skittering and squeaking to die down (after many years I have realised it's better to let the cat finish the job than scrabble around trying to catch the mouse.[)

Sazzles Ooh that is pricey considering it's only officially 5 berth. Make sure you look up online reviews of anything before you buy. We sold our massive Khyam when I got pg, will buy something different next year but it will have to be small enough to fit in the smaller garden at this house. You get more value for money if you can use it as a playhouse/gazebo as well .

Oops Would leave the fish pie for a week before trying again for a more accurate test.

Kurt ate a whole 7m Heinz jar for lunch! Had only been giving him half per meal but had that sixth sense/body language vibe that he was still up for more and he polished off the rest. Need some bigger pots for home-made stuff now!

dizzychixies · 05/04/2009 19:17

have had my fingers burnt in there before although this technically isn't about my MIL but about my brothers MIL!?!?

LoveBuckets · 05/04/2009 19:24

Ladies, if you have a the time, I'd be pleased to hear your opinions on sofas v armchairs here please.
I don't really like the armchairs I've linked to on it but wanted to show that I meant the sit-up-and-beg style rather than the throne-of-king-zog style [chair]. Also experiences of leather? Good or bad with small children?

buckets - brilliant for wiping purposes, not great for warm summer stickiness - shall have a look at your link

dizzychixies · 05/04/2009 19:31

buckets, I like the shape of them but not really the fabric, the one I'm hankering after is M&S I think. We've a big corner couch and an armchair and I'd love to have 2 couches and an armchair instead BUT the leather stays till the kids are up

dizzychixies · 05/04/2009 19:33

sazz who do you know in Campbeltown?! you really couldn't get more opposite to me if you tried, or maybe you did [sob][wail][meep]
