Dizzy, surely it's an excuse to buy 3 matching rainy day outfits?

Steaky he admits to a 30% rate but I honestly believe it's higher. I retrospect I should have known. His wife had two CS, he talked about other women who he had CSed, he disliked doula ("they get in the way"), and he offered no labour support other than breaking my water (which I really didn't have a good feeling about) and telling the nurse to "pump up the pitossin".

Buckets I gave him three book titles at my last visit because I felt like he was a hit and run doc and needed to be schooled in some follow up care for those that he'd cut open. The book you linked he'd probably ignore. He didn't have kind words about midwives either come to think of it.

My mistake. My very big MISTAKE.

I warned my neighbor, his wife and his daughter. I saw it coming. She had similar hip issues where the baby was obviously not positioned well. I asked if he'd offered her any instructions to help and she said, "he said take a tylenol and put my feet up."

I wish there was some way to red flag OB/GYN here with the reputation for this. Just makes me so very mad.

Sazzles you post made me tired. Slow down.

To bring things up to a more positive note after I dropped us to the bottom of the barrel....

I bathed Reese in our new sink a few minutes ago. It's like a pool for her. She loved it. The big faucet with the rain shower spray was awesome. I might have to bath her everyday now just for fun.

She went on to play on the floor afterwards and did another faceplant. Gravity is not her friend right now. I couldn't help but laugh though. I am such a bad mommy.

Miamla · 03/04/2009 20:05

TS Reese and my DS are going to have matching bumps and bruises at the rate she's going!

off to catch up on previous posts!

Re. showering - I let ds roll around the bathroom floor. Doesnt usually cry. For kitchen cleaning he goes in his bumbo or door bouncer, and does me a little dance whilst i -h-tidy

CaptainCaveman · 03/04/2009 20:12

that should be htidy

Steaknife · 03/04/2009 20:17

I'll tell you what I'm not, I'm not pg with twins while already having a 4yo and a 15mo, but one of my best friends is

No twins in either families, they are identicals and she says it is because she is getting older and it becomes more common as your eggs go off. She is 4 months younger than me too. I'll never get DH to agree to another baby if I keep telling him these things [silly bunny]

Steaknife · 03/04/2009 20:18

BTW did anyone else see the thread that named this blowjob bunny
LOL

dizzychixies · 03/04/2009 20:32

my post was so good thought i'd do it twice

Miamla · 03/04/2009 20:40

oops that's a lovely offer, thank you

Steaknife · 03/04/2009 20:41

Miamla I know, me and other friend who I rang as soon as I put the phone down agreed that it would be blummin hard work. I of course asked all the important questions - matchy matchy outfits or not, double decker, side by side buggies?

She is actually looking for a 3 seater buggy, seems you can get them in NZ or somewhere equally undeliverable to the UK. So if anyone knows of someone that is getting rid of one do let me know.

Hmm maybe one of these would be handy...

oopsahotcrossbunny · 03/04/2009 20:55

Steaky - Mountain buggy do a triple but there is no door would they fit through!

DH just came home with chinese and I'm now stuffed and ready for sleep. When DD wasn't sleeping I was coping but give me a little sleep and I'm exhausted.

Miamla · 03/04/2009 20:58

steak pleased to see you asked the important questions!
If I were her, I'd be tempted to stick with a 2 seater and a carrier. Once the DTs are both too big to carry comfortably her current youngest will be ok on a buggy board. but you know what, i'm glad i'm not her!

Miamla · 03/04/2009 21:01

anyone else watching america's got talent? perfect mindless nonsense for a friday night with a sleeping DS and a cooking DP

arse! he's just set the smoke alarm off...keeping fingers crossed DS doesn't wake up but it must mean that dinner's almost ready LOL

Btw I think my DS tried to say your name today! He's been making loads of new sounds again the last couple of days and this afternoon he definitely said 'mieamllllaaaaaaaamama'

Sazzles you are very knowledgeable on the multi-seater buggy front. You're not carrying a souvenir in your tumtum are you??

Nap over! Cooking pizza again. DH to cook more adult flair later.

Steaky I was fearful of the twin thing. Old eggs are a wild sort when they want to be.

TwilightSurfer · 03/04/2009 21:48

Reese is sitting here pulling things out of her diaperbag and showing them too me. Diaper. Bottle. Wipes. Towel. The list goes on. She's happy.

Miamla · 03/04/2009 21:49

DS wide awake but dinner was delicious so he's forgiven

thanks for wine offer cyteen but it would be greedy to accept when i've already got a glass of rose on the go!
