VG no not boring, I'd love to use F&B but unfortunately I have a stupid house so have to use the paint that bounces light about

No1 those shoes measure up quite big if thats not too late

miamla glad its all ok

Dylan appears to be allergic to egg rash on her arms and legs and DD1 was too so after letting her try some of my tea (baked potato & egg mayo) I think I can assume its that

all 3 in bed and DH wants on the laptop

cyteen · 31/03/2009 19:49

Ooh, I could go for a tangerine silk mini dress right now

Was sensible when dress shopping for the upcoming wedding though and bought this dress with these shoes - dress was 20% off and shoes were reduced to £15, score! Now I just need to learn how to walk in them...

PetitFilou1 · 31/03/2009 19:49

steaky I think you need to remind him that 'we will decide where things go when we move in' not 'he'. Oh dear it does sound so familiar!

PetitFilou1 · 31/03/2009 19:51

Ooh lovely cyteen

I had some very similar style purple shoes for the recent wedding from Monsoon. Have to find a good dress for my sisters wedding in August next. I am considering one from the Isabella Oliver 365 collection atm - has anyone seen the catalogue?

cyteen, that dress is gorgeous! and those heels that's me trying to wolf whistle! I wish my back would let me wear heels
I'd completely forgotten about posting you the corset, sorry, do you still want me to?

albs and I are having an impromptu mini meetup tomorrow

PetitFilou1 · 31/03/2009 20:26

cyteen lol - I was watching to see if I'd catch someone out!

vg The meaning is - imo - that you are a bit dissatisfied atm. I remember you saying you missed out on an opportunity recently which if you'd got your bum in gear you wouldn't have missed. Well - I think it is possibly a bit about that? (or else on a more basic level you just need more bedroom action in your life )

I also have a pair of (well worn) red high heels. Don't get to wear them much these days - I used to wear them a lot to work with wide leg trousers or a black dress. I miss wearing them..... Not much need for such things right now!

Miamla · 31/03/2009 20:28

pf, i reckon you should wear your red shoes on tonight!

PetitFilou1 · 31/03/2009 20:30

I would but just me here tonight sadly......dh is off wine tasting (next thing he'll be having flipping golf lessons)

Speak up lady, why are you dwelling

Am I right?

cyteen · 31/03/2009 20:44

Miamla don't worry about the corset, it might introduce a note of last minute outfit confusion and my post-baby brain cannot deal with such things anymore

pf wear the red shoes anyway! I have a lovely pair of red mary janes that have been to work, weddings, parties, the lot - they are so comfy and yet so cute. Also have these but in red...I love Irregular Choice, so cute

I broke out my pirate shoes on Saturday night for the first time in ages...felt good.

[unrepentant shoe junkie emoticon]

I can't cyteen - they are three inches high! Not very practical for running about after children.

vg I think you are expecting a lot of yourself NOT to have experienced a quality dip in your work over the last 6 months.

Wanting red in your life is maybe about missing the part of yourself that is not 'just' a mother. And wanting time to get your work right and do stuff on your personal project is not selfish - it is what keeps you you and keeps you sane (I expect from what I have seen on you on these pages!)

End of cod psychology ala pf
