Inch Blue are nicest imo but then I was looking for dark pink ones as I find the lighter ones get a bit dirty in this house

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAZZLES!!!!!

Happy Birthday Sazzles!

Happy birthday Sazzles!

ds was sick this morning after his morning feed he is never sick, not even a mouthful of milk before. I have booked him into the creche for swimming, he seems quite chipper, so I think he just ate too much

settled him in 30secs last night at 3am - he realised i was not going to pick him up and plugged his thumb in. fed him at 4.30am as he was obviously hungry. This is a vast improvement (5.5 hours without food)

off to look at shoes on ebay

sambo303 · 08/01/2009 08:18

bought these last night

oh, and i warn you now, i'll be quizzing you about your sleep training methods. sounds like its working, well done!

Miamla · 08/01/2009 08:49

good morning all

sambo303 · 08/01/2009 08:51

aw vg that's awful

my SIL returns to work next week, her LO is 7 months. I said I could not even think of going to work in my current state re lack of sleep. SIL said ladies at her work are sometimes up all night with their baby then have to do presentations and stuff the next day so survive on red bull sounds a hard place, the City.

VG, repeat after me "this too will pass". DS still a nightmare during the night so i really can sympathise

rotterpotter · 08/01/2009 09:46

Happy Birthday Sazzles! Sambo those tights are gorgeous! Have you considered normal tights for DS instead of socks? Cyteen's DS wears them as does mine and they are soooo much better than socks. I know my mum was a bit with him wearing his sister's old pink ones (I think they look rather fetching!) so he has loads of cream ones. I tried once with socks but after the umpteenth replace I got fed up, never again, well not till he's old enough to complain

VG your night sounds horrendous, hope you get a chance to crash out today. DS still bad enough waking 2-3 times a night but that's nothing in comparison.

Time is slowly rolling on towards the time I have to go back, there is no way I could manage it at the moment. 5 months to get this baby sleeping. Sounds like a long time but I've already been off 7 months how did that happen?

No1 sorry to hear your back is still bad. I hope you get it sorted, sounds incredibly painful

Oh who said the text box was enlargeable? Am not usually computer muppet but I can't do it!

oopsacoconut · 08/01/2009 09:49

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAZZLES Have a wonderful day.

dd slept well last night (sorry VG) she went from 7.30 to 2.30, 3 minute feed(decided to see what happened if I didn't dreamfeed) then 7am feed and back to sleep until 9.

Off to walk to town in the snow. Back later

yes rotter have my eye on several pairs on ebay - want to get rainbow stripes if i can, not many about

sambo303 · 08/01/2009 09:54

my sister lives in Switzerland (French speaking bit) and says all French baby boys (and older) wear tights

rotterpotter · 08/01/2009 10:00

I'm not surprised, socks are a pain!

AnnVan · 08/01/2009 10:08

Morning all.
happy Birthday Sazzles!
Sorry to hear of bad nights. I on the other hand actually had a good night for the first time in weeks. Yay!! Got him down at 8. Then when I went to bed he was moaning and squirming, so turned him onto his tummy and gave him his dummy. Had to replace it a couple of times, then suddenly he was gone again. Just had to move the dummy out the way so it wouldn't wake him. He woke up at 7.30.
It's amazing what a good night's sleep does for you.
Not meaning to be insensitive to those who had a bad night.
I just use socks on the little man. but I have some of those baby Gap ones, and they really do stay on. Want to get some booties though.

Ann no need to . You've had way more than your share of bad nights, I remember from my lurker days the end of your pregnancy when you didn't seem to get any sleep at all, and it sounds like Seb hasn't been the easiest of babies so for your good sleep.

Let's just hope these other babies figure it out soon...

CaptainCaveman · 08/01/2009 10:22

happy birthday sazzles Who will join me in giving sazz the bumps

ann so glad you got a good nights sleep, it really does do you the world of good.

VG really sorry you had such a shite night in comparison . For the last 2 nights O has decided to feed at 3am then stay awake making progressively louder squeaks and sqwarks until I've got up with him. Last night I was watching Ross Kemp on Gangs at 3.15 . Both nights he has then stayed up til 4.30.

pf lol at your ds1 waiting all year for snow!

Happy to report that O is now 15lb 8oz and that ds1 is still excited about going to school.

No snow here, just bloody miserable drizzle
