5 wk old baby gets chokey and congested after feeds - why??

DS is my 3rd and not encountered this before. For about an hour after his feeds (breastfeeding) he is really congested - you can hear fluid rattling around in his airway and on chest. Its not too bad in day, much worse at night so much so that he chokes on fluid and temporarily struggles to breathe. I've taken to having him in bed with me so when I hear him struggling I can quickly get him upright and help him out. He is fine once he is upright and quickly recovers, but it can occur again within a few minutes. He seems to struggle with wind generally, not as bad as some babies I've known and he struggles to poo and fart as well but the fluid/congestion thing is really puzzling me. Thinking of trying Infacol and have tried coleancth which helped with wind.

Any ideas/experience??

Has he got a cold? tbh with such a young baby I would get a GP appt today and get him checked out. As you say he is your 3rd, so you are not being oversensitive about things I imagine.

Hope he is better soon.
