Hi i have a 10 day old baby and i feel like he is feeding too often & sometimes wonder if he is thirsty rather than hungry, is it safe to give a newborn cool boiled water?

it is absolutely not necessary

if you are breastfeeding, the feed is his thirst quenching drink and then filling 'food'

formula is food and drink too

a newborn has a teeny tiny stomach and it needs filling little and often

also if you are breastfeeding, the best way to get supply established is for your baby to go to the breast and feed as many times and as long as he wnats

your baby only needs milk
