If anyone wants them daisy they are very welcome to them. They are stuck on the front of my fridge atm and time is ticking by. Soon they will be of no use to anyone! Tell them it's a great day out, I went to the one in Brum in the summer and I got loads of goodies and freebies!

LackaDAISYcal · 14/10/2008 18:59

I agree with holly; it's not your fault trace. You did what you thought was best and the infection is just one of those things. She'll get through it and come out the other side still laughing. She is one tough little cookie

I've posted holly, so will let you know. I'm sure someone will want them....we have a few london mums who are first timers as well.

HollyWeen · 14/10/2008 19:05

If no-one on your thread wants them I'll put them on the ffp thread and offer them to the MN massive!

Bloodystumperlicious · 14/10/2008 19:14

Trace, it's not your fault, you are doing the very best you can for Chloe. I hope it all gets better for your family soon

JammyOLantern · 14/10/2008 19:16

Trace, sorry to hear this latest news. Heaven knows you guys could do with a break! Totally agree that it's not your fault. You are doing everything you can for her. Remember to look after yourselves too - Chloe needs her Mummy and Daddy in a fit state remember! I know many of us are a way away, but do let us know if you need anything, I'm sure we all want to help if we can.

trace2 · 14/10/2008 19:25

thank you all you made me cry am having a bad time thats all chloe never stops smiling even when shes in pain shes so strong i wish i was more like her, all the nurses could not get over how placid she is and smiles through it all i should take note and be more like her, a mum on the ward kept saying i think your dd is here for a reason be strong!

JammyOLantern · 14/10/2008 19:26

She obviosuly knows that she is very much loved and being given the best care possible!

FiendishFairyFay · 14/10/2008 20:05

Oh Trace, I don't know what to say, other than you are clearly doing the very best for your brave little girl. She is obviously very much loved by everyone who knows her. Try and stay strong and always remember that we are all here to hear you rant if you need to. Sending you huge hugs xxxx

FiendishFairyFay · 14/10/2008 20:06

As Jammy said, if there's anything at all that you need or if we can help in any way at all, then please please just ask

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/10/2008 20:12

Trace Sorry to hear Chloe not so good again. She sounds such a brave little thing, and you are being so strong for her. Hope she's well soon.

Holly at that txt. Cheeky little shit. I hope DP cancels the mobile account permanently. When are the boys due for a visit again? I wouldn't want him in the house either, not without some really serious grovelling.

Foxy You are right about the itchy hands & feet. It can be symptom of Obstetric Cholestasis. I had the itching last time & had to keep getting blood tests but in the end the doc was satisfied it was just hormones & stretching. I assume same this time around.

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/10/2008 20:52

Daisy Big thanks. My neighbour just handed in your parcel as I missed the postie today.Poor neighbour was treated to sight of me in my pink (scottie dog pattered) flannel jammies that don't quite cover the bump. He won't be volunteering to take my post again in a hurry. The wellies are fab, I'm sure DD will get lots of wear out of them. If your DD's missing a plain pink sock though it's cos it was in the welly. Do you still have the partner? I'll post it back.

Izzybel · 14/10/2008 20:58

Aaargh DD is being a right little you-know-what this evening! Everytime I leave her in her cot she screams. She was the same last night - she wanted me to sing to her, I mean I know I have a beautiful voice but if she thinks I'm standing there for an hour every night she has another thing coming! I'm sorry, I know some of you probably have this every night, but it's not like her. She's usually a star when I put her to bed and goes down straight away! Grr... and breathe!

So how is everyone else on this fine () evening? Hope everyone is ok!

Trace, so sorry to hear about Chloe . Hope she is well soon. Love to you and your family xx

Holly, at your DP's son! He sounds delightful.

There are a couple of new names that I didn't notice before, so hello and welcome!

LackaDAISYcal · 14/10/2008 21:03

lol tallulah at the sock.....we did have a partner, but I cleared out all the odd socks at the weekend, so just bin it

Glad you like them....but more to the point, does DD? I've got a great photo of Em trying to get them on her feet and then grinning when she succeeded (she had help!)

LackaDAISYcal · 14/10/2008 21:04

Hi izzy

DD usually goes down like a dream, so I know how you feel on the rare occasion when she doesn't. It's kind of cute that she wants you to sing to her though

OP posts:
Izzybel · 14/10/2008 21:12

LOL at the odd sock Tallulah!
DD is driving me nuts. Also, everytime I do in she says "Dody" and her dummy is on the floor. She is throwing it out on purpose to get me back in there! Time to get rid maybe? I am doing controlled ignoring crying.

DP is away tonight and I envisaged a peaceful night doing my own thing, curled up in frnt of the TV and instead I am running up and down the stairs like a loon!

JammyOLantern · 14/10/2008 21:16

at the singing Izzy. My niece used to want my sister to sing Twinkle Twinkle to her over and over, with my sister continuing to sing as she left the room and crept down the stairs, so the singing got softer and softer.

Just ironed 2 shirts for DH. He has 2 interviews tomorrow! And he had a telephone one this afternoon. I really hope something comes through for him from all this.

JammyOLantern · 14/10/2008 21:17

Lots of sympathy for you Izzy. No advice though I'm afraid

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/10/2008 21:21

Yep the odd sock always turns up within a week of chucking the partner away. Tis a mystery of the universe. DD was already asleep when wellies arrived so she will get them tomorrow. Sure she will love them - is one of her favourite games dragging her wee shoes out the wardrobe & trying to put them on whilst chanting shoose, shoose, shoose to herself. Tonight she went to bed cuddling one of her wee boots cos I couldn't prise it off her. A future Imelda Marcos?

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/10/2008 21:23

Good luck to DH Jammy. He's certainly getting plenty of interest which is a good sign.

JammyOLantern · 14/10/2008 21:26

Thanks Tallulah. And that's really cute about cuddling the boot

HollyWeen · 14/10/2008 21:27

Wow, your dcs actually go to bed ! Ds is still up. He won't go to sleep and I can't get on until he does. I am trying to get some bits done for my bfing group, but I can't do any sort of writing because he just grabs the pen! Grrr....now he is climbing on me!

Yes Tallulah, he is a cheeky shit! I shouldn't think he'll ever come to stay again, he doesn't come with the youngest ones any more, they come on their own. It's a shame really because he has now spoilt it for the other two. I doubt very much if dp will trust any of them with something like this ever again. It makes me feel a bit for dp. He is trying to compensate for not being around much but it is just getting thrown in his face. He feels really shit about it.

LackaDAISYcal · 14/10/2008 21:31

bless her with her love of shoes tallulah. DD is the same; definately a case of nature over nurture.

although she can't say shoes.....we get doos and docks instead. Is it too early to worry about pronunciation of things? I think it's why she calls a spoon a balloon as she can't say the "s" and dpoon is a bit of a mouthful!

LackaDAISYcal · 14/10/2008 21:32

holly, much sympathies to you and your DP; being part of a step family can't be easy.

Your poor DP Holly

OK, I am off to bed. Night all.
