Hi Ya Katz and fellow junies

Thanks for the new thread , I kept looking for the old one and couldn't find it. Didn't think to start a new one

yes we are all steams ahead thinking about schools and the like, C misses the school cut off here by 14 days, so will not start till 2011, but maybe could start 2010. i have no idea he does seem ready but just not sure what to do.
he is very inquisitive and active, so we do lots of things to keep him happy, so much fun having conversations with him.

How is everyone else??????

Vanilla - Hi and thanks for sticking up for me, will keep a lid on it in future i think,

katz · 31/08/2008 13:31

hi Uki

DD2 will start jan 2010 as we still have a two intake per year system here in sunny sheffield. She's very excited about starting pre-school at the big school, as is my bank balance! my childcare bill is dropping form £320/month to £40/month! yeah!!

Ooooh,a nice new thread-thanks Katz.
Hope all fellow Junies are doing well-very much looking forward to Oscar starting his new pre school next week.We moved house during the holidays,so I don't think it's actually sunk in to him yet, that's he'll be going to a new one and not seeing his old friends at his old school.
Yes,I do believe their names have to be down for school choices very soon but we haven't had a chance to even go and see the local schools yet, although I think I have an idea of which school I'd like him to go to.
These last few years have flown by so quickly-seems strange to think I'll be putting Ethan's name down for pre school shortly.

hi all,
nice to hear from you all!! I'm keping DS1 in the nursery he is in for another year. I looked into pre-schools and it seemed to be a logistical nightmare for 2 working parents who couldn't collect him in the middle of the day. Luckily, 2 of his close friends are also staying for another year, so he'll have company which he likes.
Hope everyone is fine and well. They are getting to be such big boys and girls!!

Uki · 24/09/2008 12:28

Hi all

we seem to post on here less and less. i hope everyone will drop in and give us an update .

yes schools is still a nightmare here, we were buying a houuse and moving too, for better schools but it fell through, so back to square one.

Bubbaloo - i hope Oscar likes his new school, will you still see people from your old area?

C complains of being bored in his current 2 day care, so would really like him to go somehere more proactive.

Anyone planning more babies ?

Uki · 22/11/2008 07:36

anyone about??????

Bubbaloo · 29/11/2008 16:11

Hi Uki-I'm still around, but on Facebook more.
How's the house move going? We moved in July and have settled in nicely now.Oscar loves his pre school and Ethan wil be starting in Septmber when Oscar goes to big school. Can't believe how quickly the time flies!
Have spent the afternoon making paper chains and putting up the Christmas tree.I'm like a big kid when it comes to Christmas-roll on the 25th.
Hope everyone is well.xxx

Hi All,

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.
We spent the 25th with just the 4 of us which was nice and relaxing, then had 10 for dinner on Boxing day which made up for it.
Dwayne-I also saw the due in June 09 and thought the same as you.Seems like only yesterday since our Junies were all born!
Best of luck with ttc next year-we're going to try for number 3 once I've got around to losing some weight first but have no idea if or when it will happen.Ds1 took 7 years ttc and ds2 took 1 month.
Anyway, hope everyone is well and a very happy new year to everyone.

Bubb.xxx
