Intense bond with the newborn

I’m so smittened with my newborn who’s a third child. I didn’t have the same level of closeness with my other two. I love them dearly but just not quite the same from day1. Perhaps I’m getting old, perhaps it’s the normal with later child, this will likely to be my last child. I just wanna hold her and not put her down.
does anyone else feel the same way or is it just my hormone? 😅

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I felt like that with both mine but it was more instant with my second, probably because I had an easier birth, only gas & air and I was generally less anxious as a second time mum.

She's likely to be your last baby, you said. I felt like this a bit with my second/last. I was so aware of how quickly the time goes and that every time I held her I would never have a baby that little ever again.

That’s how I felt with my first but I had her when I was 36, I’m not sure how old you are? I do feel like it’s related to my age - I am very nostalgic for all the moments during the moments and I don’t think I would have felt like that in my 20s. Enjoy this wonderful special time and congratulations xx

Yes I had that with number 3, I think it was because I was so confident and had no anxiety- Which I had very badly with 1&2. The first year of my third child’s life was the happiest time in my life .
