lol hello! I am a lurker who likes meet ups but has no time to post anymore - I have 3 x ds and a dh, we have no jobs, but no mortgage (yiipppppeeee) and are off to sunny cornwall next week.

Octothechildherder · 29/06/2008 22:11

lexilex · 29/06/2008 22:22

lexilex · 29/06/2008 22:24

lexilex · 29/06/2008 22:27

evening spb, you had a good wekend? x

StealthPolarBear · 29/06/2008 22:30

Yes fine thanks, although DH has been working so have had to do everything with one eye on T. You experienced mums must be used to that! How about you?

lexilex · 29/06/2008 22:33

been good, had a layin today which was lovely, but i darent ask what the los had for breakfast as dp is still on cruches. lol. and also been doing lots of packing, amazing what a family collects in 4 years. lol. xxx

StealthPolarBear · 29/06/2008 22:36

Do you have a date to move yet?

StealthPolarBear · 29/06/2008 22:37

off to bed now, see you soon xx

lexilex · 29/06/2008 22:39

we pick up the keys tomorrow, (we only found out friday we got the house) but it really needs decorating, ( old guy who was a heavy smoker lived there for 25 years, can you picture it?) so we will move in on the 14th. cant wait, although ds doesnt want to be in his own room as hes only ever known being in with us and hes 4, so hes a bit anxious. xx

elkiedee · 30/06/2008 00:07

Goodnight all! Sorry to hear about Molly and Katie, hope both feel lots better soon.

We had a lie in today but D made up for it by not going to sleep until 11.30 pm. I had quite a lazy day apart from that... my dad took the three of us out to a local Turkish restaurant we've not been to since D was out of a pram, and D tried lots of new food tastes.

lexilex · 30/06/2008 00:31

i have just had the funniest convo with my mate on fb, her dd is 2 1/2 and had found her dads clippers tonight, and my mate found her asleep in the hallway with a pile of hair next to her, she shaved the front of her hair off because she did want hair anymore, lmao, cant wait to see her at playschool tomorrow, (mental note to self- always, always, always put the hair clippers on a very high shelf!!!) at least theres lots of very pretty hair bands in the shops at the moment, hehe. night all. xxx

elkiedee · 30/06/2008 09:56

Lexi, eeek. Have they taken a pic to embarrass her with later?

Bramshott · 30/06/2008 10:04

Morning all!

Quiet day here today - I don't work Mondays and I have nothing on today so think I will clean the bathroom (oh my life is exciting I can tell you!). Might even take a leaf out of SPB's book and clean the windows!

Busy weekend - DH was doing a mad bike ride and we went to see friends for lunch and then on to the beach. We had been up at 5.45 to drop DH off, and then O was still awake at 8.00 that evening with no sleep at all

Lexi - great news about the house!

Caz - great news about the job (and house!)

cazboldy · 30/06/2008 10:31

Yes SOL she has been very hot, and just wants cuddles all the time

I don't think it helps that she has got her big back teeth coming through.

Lexi - sounds like things are moving fast for you!

dh has to work 8 weeks notice so we will have a while

CaptainDippy · 30/06/2008 12:21

Great news Caz re house

Didn't pick up on anything else as I whizzed through thread; but had a super time with NL and her DH and their charming girls at the farm yeseterday

Hi there.

Good to see you Bramshott! Enjoy the cleaning

Dippy, glad you had such a good day yesterday with NL and her family.

Caz, hope Molly feels brighter soon.

Lexi, good luck with the decorating; sounds like a busy couple of weeks.

K has no temp today but totally off her food. Had milk fine at breakfast but barely any cereal and for lunch she has turned down fish pie, turned down baked beans and is eating bread only! She looks really tired too- she looks like she has the remnants of a black eye under one eye poor thing (it isnt I hasten to add!)

Hope everyone is ok.

oooggs · 30/06/2008 13:28

hope Katie & Molly are feeling better soon

Well Dancer - did the earth move for you??

Hi Octo - have a fab time in Cornwall - the weather is great at the moment

lexi - good luck with decorating

Don't envy you that oooggs! Brings back memories
The girl who lives next door to me is due in a few weeks time, they don't know what they are having but already have a four year old daughter. She is really big and looks so uncomfortable and I really really feel for her. It makes me wonder how big you must have been carrying your twins oooggs! Ouch!

elkiedee · 30/06/2008 16:40

You go ahead and complain oooggs, I need to know I have company. I think you're suffering more than me, I'm just exhausted. Sickness is more of a problem in the evenings - I was glad to have D as a reason for a 6 pm restaurant booking yesterday as under 10 weeks seems much too soon to tell more people (though I don't think I'm going to be able to keep it secret for the next 3/4 weeks for size/health reasons).

CaptainDippy · 30/06/2008 17:30

LOL @ all you moany PG women
