evening - please keep me occupied, I went to get changed last night (had got very wet on way home from summer fair and was cold) at 7.20pm, after putting dcs to bed and promptly fell asleep on bed

all very well and good but I woke when dh came to bed and was then up for hours so must try and stay awake till at least 9pm

that dress is lovely Luce and I would loved to try it

Elkie - I'm due 30 Jan

mine are shattered, had done lots of walking on their new reins (those twin ones) very cute as it is the Regatta this weekend so loads of stalls, food, side shows, bouncy castle - you get the picture

the sun came out and was very hot and I have caught it on my face and chest you know the old story - dcs covered in factor 50 and you forget yourself

StealthPolarBear · 28/06/2008 20:01

hi oooggs - I will be in and out

cazboldy · 28/06/2008 20:02

oooggs you and me both! I am very sore on my shoulders....

Well Willy the stallion (bless him) was very enthusiastic, but Dancer wasn't in the mood, so we have left her there to get too know him better

oooggs · 28/06/2008 20:03

caz - you could hardly except her to ....... you know what..... on a first date

cazboldy · 28/06/2008 20:10

she is obviously a lady

oooggs · 28/06/2008 20:20

Belated happy birthday to ds1, Luce - glad you all had a good day.

I was wondering whether we could organise a summer meet for the Scottish contingent, I'd be happy to host if people don't mind coming through to Edinburgh. What do you all reckon? WO is you new job full time? Congrstulations btw, it sounds really interesting.

Oooggs & Elkie, sympathies with the nausea & tiredness. I remember it well.

CaptainDippy · 29/06/2008 09:38

Absolutely PMSL laughing at Dancer the Laydeeeee and Willy the Randy Bugger

Off to church and then off to meet NorthernLurker and family - yippee!

Just popping in quickly to say hello

The boys stayed at my mums last night so we could go to a wedding reception (which was lovely) So not only did we have a night on our own, but we also had a lie in until 8.30am

Lots on this week, so prob won't be on much.

Take care all
x

cazboldy · 29/06/2008 18:08

we have accepted the job.

the farmer has agreed to extend by converting the garage and /or possible conservatory

feel a bit odd .......

oooggs · 29/06/2008 19:33

caz - fab news - how's dancer today?

lovely runny of a good night out and a lie in

very very quiet

Sexonlegs · 29/06/2008 20:31

Hi all

Caz, great news re the job etc. House/job moving is inevitably unsettling, but sounds great.

Runny, glad you had such a great evening and lie in

Hi Oooggs, hope you are feeling ok today.

So quiet on here. Hope all is well with you all.

We had a great time at the 40th do last night, and a big lie in

K is not well though and I am a tad worried. She had a temp of 40.1 this afternoon after she woke up from her nap. We were at my parents and mum ran a tepid bath and we gave her calpol and the temp did come back down slowly, but started to go up again. She is dosed on nurofen atm but don't think it will be the end of it.

She had her mmr 2 1/2 weeks ago; you don't suppose it could be that still do you?

runnyhabbit · 29/06/2008 20:42

sol, I remember the nurse telling me that some side effects could happen up to 6 weeks later, so it might be the mmr. Could it be mumps? The nurse said this could also happen (something to do with the vaccine triggering it, so it could work, iyswim)

runnyhabbit · 29/06/2008 20:43

and yes, I think its quiet on here too

Got such a busy week ahead, I feel knackered just thinking about it.

cazboldy · 29/06/2008 20:56

SOL - Molly is exactly the same poor little love, and she hasn't had her MMR yet..... She is fine as long as she is dosed up to the eyeballs, but when it starts to wear off she is very miserable

I am going to wait until tomorrow before I ring and find out about Dancer, she should be ready to "do the deed" tomorrow

Sexonlegs · 29/06/2008 21:03

Caz, poor M. So has her temp been up to 40 and over?

Good luck with Dancer

Doobydoo · 29/06/2008 21:06

SOL and Caz,do hope your little ones are ok soon.Do you have fans?
to all lie ins and parties.
Hope your move goes well Caz.It does feel unsettling but am sure it will be positive.Landlord sounds reasonable re extensions.
Hope you ok Elkie and OOGGS,don't envy the nausea bit!
M had crap night, and i had to doze sitting up so he could sleep on me propped up,when he lay down he started vomiting mucous,he has had a night like this a few months ago.He was fine today tho'.
My spd is back with a vengeance today,so incredibly painful[eek]
Hope we all have a good week

Doobydoo · 29/06/2008 21:08

Oh,and hope Dancer has sucuumbed!
Also when i was dozing, uncomfortably this morning, was awake for dawn chorus[had window open]Noisy blighters!

lexilex · 29/06/2008 21:09

hi all, sol, it most probably is the mmr, they say it takes a while for side effects to come out, k has had a temp today to but only a little one, but shes never bothered by jabs she laughed when she had her last 2.!!!!!

caz, good luck with the move and the new job, im with you on the moving bit, i have 2 weeks to pack and decorate the new place,

glad ds1 had a good birthday luce.

i get the keys to the house tomorrow, then have to decorate the place this week as its rather minging, but thats the council for you, im so excited though ive never had my own place before as ive always been renting, and i really need things like stairgates, which ive never needed in a flat,

hope everyone else is ok. xxxx
