hi all we were told today bout the house and we get the keys monday, but its council so need lots of decorating, so we will move in 2 weeks, i cant wait im going from 1 bed to 3 bed, i think ill get lost in there. lol. so if myou dont see me for a couple of days you know why. hehe.

SOL - the organic formula one? (I'm on a few ) Yes, I think it's probably well past 500 posts! Night, if you've already gone to bed, me too soon, have just done an online shop and almost couldn't be bothered to do that - incredibly lazy!
I think we are off to a 1st birthday party tomorrow - it's a little girl's. The card I've got has a giraffe playing with some building blocks on the front and a big "1 today". The 1 is blue - does that mean it's a boy's card? It didn't even occur to me till I got home, but don't want to offend!!

SPB, aaah, I don't know the answer though I think D got two of those cards. But surely a giraffe design should be ok for boys and girls. And at 1 year old she's not going to know any different, hopefully her parents will be happy to see you and T there. I wouldn't have been offended by a pink looking card for D, I don't think!

I wanted to get a card for the CM's youngest own child whose 7th birthday was last Sunday, but realised I've no idea how to spell his name. My mum said it would be written in Arabic anyway (at home) but as he goes to school I'm sure he's used to writing and reading it himself in our alphabet etc.

Being a parent is just a series of social minefields

All ok here. B and K slept with no interruptions. B now at a birthday party. Then , we are dropping them both with my parents and then off to London. Decided not to stay up there as friends are driving and have offered us a lift there and back.

Went to a nearby NCT sale today while D took dp to the toy library to play with the toys and do some singing. Probably out again soon before D trashes the house.

hi everyone
well been to a party, T was zonked out in the car home and then slept a bit more in his cot . Now flying around the kitchen with his car...really hope he sleeps later!
