Nappy overnight

Is it okay to not change a baby’s nappy overnight if they’ve not pooed in it? 6 months old.

If they’re sleeping well and the nappy isn’t leaking from wetness and the baby doesn’t have nappy rash then yes it’s perfectly fine to not change the nappy throughout the night.

I always found that if I can - smell it / see it bulge / or notice that blue line, I will do that change.
I always found DD feeds way better when she's been changed. Often ill do that with DP sorts the bottle out and it keeps her distracted and entertained whilst she waits.
But I would never wake them specifically do change them unless they have nappy rash, leaks or it's uncomfy for them :)

I don’t wake her for it. If she wakes, I’ll change her as it’s usually the discomfort of a full nappy that has woken her.
