... and in that time she bashed her face on the floor, tore up the post and is now chewing my mobile phone.

better go I think.

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 17:09

arse. i'm still here.

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 17:38

I spend my days putting baby books back on the shelf, stuffing wipes back in the packet, tissues in the box, all my bits and pieces back in my make-up bag/drawer, DDs clothes back in her chest of drawers, the cat food back in the cat food bowl, the bath toys back in the box......erm what else...oh yeah, the CDs back on shelves and the books back on the shelves in the office. And DH wonders why the house isn't tidy. I have no bloody time to do it!!!!!

I've spent money! Not a lot, but got a couple of bras.....the only two 36FF cups in the whole of farking Debenhams, a new t-shirt, and DD got an early birthday pressie (she screamed when I tried to take it off her, but of course now it's openend she isn't interested ), some bionicles for DS (on special offer in Woolies) and DS got some new shorts, 2 pairs for a fiver in H&M (bogof special today only)....oh and some Spatone.

I checked my bank account and I'm pretty solvent so either wages have gone in today or someone somewhere has made a mistake as I'm usually in the red.

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 17:39

oh, and I got DD some books for her birthday.

what the f*** have they done to the smileys......they are bloody horrid.

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 19:15

Next now have a permanent sale or offers section, they had some fairly decent maternity stuff Daisy.

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 19:17

Did you get your Good Housekeeping subscription Daisy? I've found a fairly good deal on it if you want it.

my kids get hyper after teatime. Why? They should be knackered. We went to the park, had lunch in a cafe, painted piggy banks. Then I came on here and they watched Tom & Jerry. .

If you see me on here between the hours of 9 and 7 shoo me away.

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 19:35

Oh. I must look in Next; there was a pair of cropped trews that I liked the look of.

I bought a top in H&M...an L, but I fear I may have to swap it for an XL as it's a bit tight around my turkey wings . Tell me their sizing comes up on the small side, please!

foxy, it's the food that does it; recharges their batteries for another wee bit. DD ricochets around the living room for an hour after her tea.

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 30/05/2008 20:09

Daisy I find H&M small on the arm side and I have arms like twigs! I've got a gorgeous little short-sleeved jacket that I rarely wear for this reason.

Any advice for my thread?

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 20:14

at arms like twigs

Am off to look at your thread.

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 30/05/2008 20:27

And thighs like tree trunks!

Seriously, my arms (especially my wrists) are the evidence that I am in fact a thin person in a fat body! My rings are size F and G!

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 20:38

Sorry Bumper I'm not of any help on that one.

How are you anyway?

Daisy - I LOVED that clip you sent. Bloody hilarious

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 20:41

wasn't it foxy

bumper, I've added my tuppenceworth, but I feel your pain. DD bit me so badly once that she there were little blood blisters around my nip and I had to use a nipple shield again for a couple of feeds. It did pass though, not that that will be any consolation to you at the minute.

hard as it is, try to relax, as I think they sense you being tense and are more inclined to bite then.

I hope you can get through it. Have you looked on Kellymom at biting and nursing strikes?

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 20:44

Nippleshields are a good idea Daisy.

DP away again this weekend. I have had a Tesco order (an pricey Tesco order). It appears I need a lot of Curly Wurlys, Ice cream and no meat to feed this family of 6 .

Now, Caramel Chew Chew or Brioche Bread and Butter Pudding? That is the question.

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 20:48

lol foxy; I was just about to ask why you and bumper are here on a Friday night!

I'd have the caramel chew chew meself as the brioche is out for me. I have a bar of galaxy chilling in the fridge

DH is around, he has the hump as he was trying to tell me something important earlier and all I could do was moan about the smileys going pete tong . That and the house is a tip, but I've had no energy after all the tidying up after DD I've been doing.

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 20:50

Where the feck else would we be? Clubbing in Soho?

Its too late for the Brioche. It needs cooking Ice cream it is (perhaps eaten with a Curly Wurley instead of a spoon).

FrazzledFairyFay · 30/05/2008 20:52

I'm here too. Have had curry and now eating Magnum (well Sainsburys equivalent). Mmmmmmm

FrazzledFairyFay · 30/05/2008 20:52

Clubbing in Soho, now that sounds like fun

BumperliciousNeedsToSleep · 30/05/2008 20:55

LOL at eating ice cream with a curly wurly!

Daisy where else would we be?

Just had a quick look on kellymom and got a few tips. Worried that she has now gone on a nursing strike Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 21:07

hi FFay, Curry and Magnum sounds perfect!

I started bedtime at 7.30, and finished it at 9.05 by shouting, drawing big sad faces on star-charts and screaming 'Right, Thats it! No football tomorrow!".

Its peaceful now. And I feel crapola

The icecream helps, so not that bad

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 21:09

c.l.u.b.b.i.n.g......nope, doesn't mean anything to me

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 21:12

oh foxy, don't beat yourself up about it. DS has gone to bed on harsh words every night this week....and they probably know you don't mean it about the football.

Is that playing or watching btw? They are showing Euro2008 ads on the beeb, and I'm sure Ronaldo was mentioned. Am I missing something, isn't Euro a national championship? and doesn't he play for Brazil?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/05/2008 21:14

I'm here too...bored !

My dcs are in the other room, they are still up and being manic and my dp is out. I can't be bothered to put dd to bed and ds won't go to sleep.

Bumper, I also feel you pain. Ds used to bite. Once he bit me and drew blood and I had a really sore nipple for days, it was all red and swollen...truly awful! It is definately when he has had enough and is bored. I really have to pay attention to what I am doing and not read/watch tv/play with dd at the same time otherwise I get bitten! He is getting better now and tends to get down of his own accord when he has finished rather than "telling" me he doesn't want any more!

I went to M&S today and got all upset! I wanted to buy a nice, pretty, non nursing bra to wear on the odd occasion I go out as I am sick of having saggy boobs all the bloody time! Well...the nice bras only go up to a DD and I am an E. All the E+ bras are horrid old lady ones with straps as thick as my arm and come in black, white or hearing aid beige...yuk! I was a 34B before I had dd...I WANT MY SMALL BOOBS BACK !

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 21:16

Oh you know Daisy. Its when you go out at about 10pm, stand in a long line of people for 45 minutes, hand over £10 to go and stand in another line of people to put your coat into a cloakroom, then go and get a headache whilst standing next to lots of sweaty people elbowing you in the ribs whilst trying to be noticed so you can hand over £5 (several times) for a drink. Do that for a couple of hours, go back and stand in line for another 30mins to get coat back, freeze tits off whilst dribbling chilli sauce from chips down cleavage and flagging down every car that goes by hoping its a taxi, which will then cost £30 for a 15 minute drive.

You remember that don't you?

HellHathNoFury · 30/05/2008 21:18

Holly go to debenhams, they have lovely bras there up to an E. I know as I am wearing one

Figleaves look good as well, but I am not sure if they are mail order only?

I remember I was a C cup once. Looking at those teeny bras now it's hard to imagine, I could fit two small childrens head in my bra cups nowadays.

foxythesnowfox · 30/05/2008 21:18

ooh, hello Holly and Fury
