My DD is 10 weeks and ever since she was born she dies not sleep long in her basket or cot. She's justed started meds for reflux. She suffers with bad gas too. Tried aptamil pepti but it made her worse. Yesterday she was really good and managed a few hours in her cot at night but today I cannot put her down. She only sleeps on me or hubby. Today She's also been getting hungry quicker but only feeding small amounts. I'm exhausted. I've got two other children but can't remember if this is normal or when it gets better. Her crying really got to me today.

I can’t even imagine, OP. I had only one baby and I was exhausted. I was too weak, so I contact napped until he was 6 months, but I appreciate you can’t do that, for obvious reasons, so your best bet is to try to put her down every time. Would she sleep in a carrier/wrap?

I do have a carrier which she does settle in however I don't find it comfortable for long as my back starts hurting. She's been happier in the day since posting but night time she just doesn't sleep flat. I have to hold her and it's exhausting. I'm really hoping it's a phase

I'm sorry, its so hard. Can you and your husband split the night into shifts and take turns holding her, so you both have a block of solid uninterrupted sleep? X
