A question before I go to bed:

I have just bought a new sandpit - it's a ELC starfish plastic one which is a fairly standard size I think - HOW MUCH SAND DO I NEED TO FILL IT UP?

Incidentally, the sandpit was recommended by IDOC, who I met up with last week. She's really well, although very busy. She has texted me subsequently though to say that S has got chickenpox since we saw them, so I am waiting to see if O comes out with it now!

Night everyone

Was just stood out the back having a fag letting the dog out and he started growling at something at the bottom of the garden (he hardly ever growls) and then came and stood behind me Great fucking guard dog he is! Needless to say I came back in!

Hoping it ws just a badger or cat or something in allotments at the back and not spb some weird stalker/theif/axe murderer.

Need to sort out exactly whats happening with ds2's birthday on Sunday, ring the high school about going to visit, ring the playgroup about Charlie starting in September, book an appointment for my pony to have it's vaccinations next week, book the cat in to be neutered,...think that's it for this morning, but I have borrowed my Mum's carpet cleaner, and I want to shampoo the downstairs carpets if the 2 little terrors will let me

I'm lonely at work again today i'm in one of the partners office's normally a complete and utter mess but he's had to clear it out so that it could be decorated, so it's not too bad. I should've brought a radio in though since it's very very quiet.

Is runny away on holiday now? Feel bad as I should have text her really but have been caught up with my own health issues far too much! Have a pre op assessment appt next Wednesday so will ask how much longer I will have to wait. I am sure that the pre op thing makes no difference to the waiting time though! Back to work this week I think, don't want to, but I could sit at home for ages otherwise. This is something I just have to get on with for a while so that is that!

Took F for her MMR and Hib and MenC this afternoon. Wasnt expecting the MMR but they gave it anyway as we were delayed on the others due to her being unwell. Another lot over and done with She is sleeping now but will have to wake soon as I need to go and get ds from school.

Quiet day today - just about to get on with some jobs as mum is coming tomorrow. Gotta prepare for interview, and also list a moutain of stuff on flebay.

Just bought this for C..... he's sitting it in the garden happy as larry,..Although he appears to be launching all of the balls out at the moment... bought 30 - there will probably be 15 left by the weekend.

dd had the pink version of that gm we bought 3 packs of balls expecting her to be able to bury herself(like at soft play) but they barely covered the bottom of it

Just thought exactly the same thing eddas - put one pack in and it didnt even cover it.

Asda do packs of 100 for £4.96 - although I think 300 balls is more than enough to be collecting from the garden for the time being.

GM, i said about getting more balls and dh said the same as you, 300 is plenty for ds i've bought him a small paddling pool(about a meter wide) and a couple of packs of balls fills it, he loves it.

mind numbingly dull at work today. i really excited about my hours changing so i'm only here a day a week. Plus friday is the day for going to lunch so i will actually be able to go now (they don't go every week but if they do it's a friday)
