I know it sounds a strange question; but since having my daughter (last Thursday she announces proudly) I have been feeling rather odd since my milk has come in - slighty fuzzy headed and anxious for no reason - particualrly in the evenings. This is accompanied by a tricky tummy. Is this a side effect of hormones and are they likely to stick around whilst breastfeeding continues or will my hormones level out? I had this ongoing for 3 months with my dd; and it drove me crazy!!

Congats on new baby.

I had this for a few weeks with DD1, didn't seem as bad with DD2 for some reason. I used to feel really lightheaded and weak just before a feed. The only thing I found to help was to eat enormous amounts of food, I guess it is a sort of hypoglycemia. I used to get a bit hysterical and giggly too sometimes (perhaps that was sleep deprivation...).

Eat lots and lots. Drink lots of fluids.
