How to stop breastfeeding??

Hello.I really want to give up breastfeeding.My first born was EBF until 14 months and second is 10 months and I really want to stop.Nights are really bad she's up loads at night!!I'm exhausted and I want my body back.Any advice will be helpful.

Hi OP. I know exactly how exhausting night feeding is, my baby would sometimes want to remain latched pretty much all night. Does your baby accept bottles of expressed milk or formula? You/partner would still have to wake up obviously, but you would have your body back at least.

Bring a couple of bottles up to the bedroom at night in a cool bag with ice pack to save going down to the fridge. We kept a bottle warmer in the bedroom to warm bottles up quickly.

Hopefully your baby can settle with a bottle, but there’s nothing quite like boob … good luck :)

I got my baby combo feeding breast milk from me and bottled breast milk at 3 weeks old. And weighing just 5lb too. Best advice I can give is offer 1oz of breast milk in bottle at the end of each BF that's what my health visitor advised me and it worked. Give it a try, Good luck x
