Hi there!
Thought it might be nice to create a thread for people to jump on to share the highs, lows and make new virtual mum friends.

I am still finding my way with motherhood (first baby!) and live out in the sticks, so it can be a bit lonely some days, although not complaining, I love my baby girl so much!

Hello!! First time mum to a 4 month old little boy. Live in a city but don’t know anyone with little babies so it’s quite lonely at times.

I'm in a similar boat @Infertilitylife First time mum, my daughter is 2 months old. I don't have any friends that live locally. Working up the courage to make it to a baby and toddler group but tbh, not really my cup of tea! Do you go to any groups or anything?

@ThankGodformythermos I haven’t been to any yet. I’m the same as you though, they don’t really seem to be my thing. I booked once but cancelled 😂

Hi

I am not actually isolated but would say there are plenty of groups that cater more for people with babies rather than the traditional mother and baby group setting. Where I live we have a choir group that people bring baby too (so sing regular songs not nursery rhymes), a pottery club and mummy fitness classes

if your not keen for the traditional type of class look to see if a hobby/interest has a bring a child option

I found this worked better for me :)
