What week did you go into labour?

Currently 30 weeks.

My LO was prem and nothing went to plan at all.

This pregnancy so far so good, but i actually have no idea what happens as last experience was not great and as i was in hospital from 29 weeks, i never had any antenatal classes or birth plan to even know what usually happens.

Therefore...does it just randomly happen between 37-40 weeks? When did your LO arrive?

What happens or how do you know you are going into labour?

How long are you usually in hospital for?

When do you get gas & air, epidural or water birth done? Like after waters go? Straight away? I'm worried about the pain 😬 my last pregnancy i never actually felt a contraction, (i was given epidural before anything happened due to being rather poorly) so i feel clueless.

41+4 with my first and 38+6 with my second. Completely different labours - had contractions super quick with first early labour at 7am and he was born by midday. Trickle of waters. Was in labour for a full day with second, dramatic waters 6-10cm in less than 5 minutes.
I think they can be completely different @Pickles2023 but you may have dull period type pain, backache etc beforehand all the best!
