Things to do before baby arrives

I have about a month to go until my baby is due. My question to new parents is... what is the one thing you're really glad you did (or wish you had done) before your baby arrived?

This may or may not be baby related - everyone says to get all the sleep you can and fill up the freezer, but are there any more unusual suggestions that helped you?

Have some romantic nights in with dh.Those will all go out the window for a while.

I agree with the freezer and sleep idea-oh,enjoy lie ins,get up when you want to and not when you think you should-lie in bed all day if you want it will be one of the last guilt free ones you will have.

Good luck with everything x

Go to the cinema - found it was a while before we found ourselves going again.

SLEEP

Yes, definitely cinema, and/or gigs/concerts if that's your thing. Eat and sleep as much as you want, and especially as due date approaches because you need your strength for labour. Also this may sound shallow but if you can afford it now, stock up on some nice things for you like nice hand cream, bubble bath, a simple make-up item, maybe something new to wear for spring (ideally not something very size-specific, but could be sandals, jewellery or fab shades etc). Your focus will be just on the baby for a while and doing things for yourself will go out the window - you can feel cut off from your own life in the early weeks, and you won't be doing much shopping for yourself.

Good luck!
