Hi,

Little boy (9 weeks 5 days) was getting frequent trapped belly wind and not burping very well. So tried gripe water etc didn’t make much difference. So wondered if a change of milk would help him so we moved onto Kendamil from Cow and Gate. He was having between 4-6oz(120ml-180ml) during the day about 6-7 times on C&G varied what he had each feed. Now using Kendamil and I’ve noticed that the feeding guide is completely different for ages etc and now beginning to wonder if been over feeding him when giving him the 6oz (180ml) when for his age it should be 120ml but for his weight it should be 150ml?? I know they use whole milk and wondered if this is why it’s different feeding guidelines.

Can't advise you on the switch, but i started on kendamil, and ended up with the anti colic (kendamil comfort) which literally has changed my baby girl from a very unhappy, stressed, in pain baby, to a happy giggly windy girl. I highly recommend it

You should feed to your baby's appetite rather than what's on the box

As OP mentioned, just feed what the baby wants rather than focusing what's on the box. You'll soon realise how much they're comfortable taking and how often. Babies know when they're full so don't worry about over feeding.

Hopefully your ds is fine on kendamil. If you find you need to try another out ds worked well with mamia.
