Any tips on more successful nap times?

I have an 11 week old and she rarely naps throughout the day (unless we're out in her pram)

When she does go down it's usually for no longer than 20-30 minutes, and sometimes she takes a while to drift off. She can cry and I need to leave her be to settle herself (as rocking her doesn't always do the trick)

She sleeps wonderfully at night though.

Any tips on encouraging more successful naps for her? Sometimes she's cranky not long after her mini sleep and I think it's cause she's still tired.

Thanks everyone.

Two things that can help them drift off and stay asleep longer (if you’re not already using them) are dummies and white noise. Leave the white noise running even steer they have fallen asleep.

Have you had any better luck today?

@ExplodingSmittens I have reintroduced some white noise, seems to be helping so far 🤞
