Feeds and Bedtime, When does it change?

My baby turned a month old a few days ago, she's still wanting a feed every two hours max, I suppose my question is - Is this right, and if so, when will she start going longer between?

She's also awake more than she's asleep, especially throughout the day.

With regards to bedtime, she takes a while to settle, a lot if the time I have to let her self soothe cause as soon as I put her down she's kicking and fussing, even when she's sleepy in our arms. I've thought about trying some sort of bedtime routine but I find it so hard cause her sleeping/eating pattern is so unpredictable and random. Will she eventually learn the bedtime stuff when she's older or do I really need to be teaching her this early on?

My baby was the same until 3 months then she did a 4/5 hour stretch, Fred then another 2 hours. When she got to 5.5 months she started doing 10-6. She's now 7 months and does 8.30-7pm. My son was relatively similar. Hang in there!

Sorry my post has so many errors! I meant feed, not Fred and 7am not pm Blush

A month is quite young to be thinking about a bedtime routine. You’re right to be responding to her cues and needs… every baby is different.
