Hi everyone new here :) - just wandered what is normal for baby poo my daughter is coming up to 4 weeks old .
we had her on cow and gate from birth , she was pooping every. 3 days and it would be like a formed consistency.
I changed her to Kendamil as I thought the Cow and gate may be constipating her and I had read good things about it but since she’s been on kendamil she’s continually pooing nearly after every feed it’s very seedy and a couple have had slight mucas is this normal ? It sounds like it’s exploding out of her bum when she goes

has anyone experienced the same ?

Tbh formula fed babies should be pooing more often than every 3 days and it’s should look seedy and wet so she was probably constipated on C&G! Mucus can be quite common and usually nothing to worry about, unless it’s very frequent.

Both mine were fed on kendamil and theirs was wet, seedy and really yellow. Probably 3-4 dirty nappies a day. I didn't feed them any different formula though so don't know if its something that's specific to Kendamil.

Our 3 week old is on Kendamil also and that sounds about right to me. He has in excess of 4+ dirty nappies in a day. As he has grown these have been seedy, wetter and less formed. They have began to start moving towards the edge of the nappy but luckily no explosions as of yet. He took to Kendamil so much better than any others and hated cow and gate, it was always all coming up back up. At least Kendamil is better priced than these other brands and to us much better
